To think that Tom Hardy is a misogynist?

He's been fired from Mobland for being hard to work with

Apparently he's been like this on other sets and seems to enjoy intimidating women, with Helen Mirren and Charlize Theron being named

I reckon he gives misogynist vibes and no longer find him sexy 😒😒

Is he a method type actor? So if he’s an arse on a show he thinks he can / should be an arse in real life when not filming?

Apparently he is a method actor but that excuse is so old and tired, no wonder it didn't work

@ImInTheCooler Fucking brilliant 😂 I couldn’t agree more.

mumofoneAloneandwell · 26/05/2026 16:11

Ooo see i can picture him doing everything hes been accused of

Winding up women, changing lines, showing up late and acting up 👀

Well I don’t know about misogyny, just arrogance which is based on a quote from someone who I paraphrasing what Helen allegedly said to them…

The other part is that he is one of the executive producers on the show, so there will be an element of wanting to “change lines” or disagreement on how it’s being filmed. It’s completely possible that they couldn’t agree on the direction in was heading and they just parted ways.

i don't care enough to know what he's done or why, but I would sit on that man's face in a heartbeat.

🤣🤣🤣

A lot of women feel this way which is why so many get stuck with trash partners.

Yeah, I still don't care. The term is thrown around so much it's lost its validity.

People say all sorts, but theie behaviour exposes them

I see, I see

Lahsania · 26/05/2026 16:01

I saw him in the Kray Brothers film, he was really really good.

‘all actors are dicks ‘ is true, though. The urge to perform is a bit suss, when it’s taken to such levels.

IfyouStealMySunshine · 26/05/2026 16:01

He could well be hard to work with but am sad about this decision. He was great in Mobland and the main character.
He was much more watchable than Helen Mirren who I generally enjoy in things but in Mobland she was like a pantomime villain just very unbelievable.

His Wikipedia site says that he considers himself to be pro-feminism.

His sexuality is his business, He’s a good actor - all he needs to be.

BridgetJonesV2 · 26/05/2026 15:53

Seems to be that someone is doing a hatchet job on Tom, he's clearly pissed someone off somewhere. But I would add that Charlize Theron is notoriously difficult to work with, she blames it on being South African and "direct".

The only issue ive heard about her is working with tom Hardy

Its so much harder for men to be labelled difficult to work with than a woman

And someone that big - i reckon he is difficult 😬😬

Even if you take every word of that article as gospel, none of it says misogyny, just general arseholery and a lack of professionalism.

This

Most actors are dicks

TomatoSandwiches · 26/05/2026 15:54

He's just another entitled self important male imo.

Seen him a couple of films. Not someone I really give much thought to.

'I reckon' is what you're basing your view on?

I reckon that's a bit thin as evidence goes.

I'm basing my reckoning on the news stories about Tom's working relationships with woman, all widely available

I was surprised there wasn't already a thread
