Unable to open windows as people back of me smoking cannabis. Selfish *****

During hot weather, I open my windows before the sun hits it.

Came back from shopping and the direction of the windows I was planning to open, people in the garden on the other side of the wall are smoking cannabis. Oh great! I don’t want to have the smell of that vile stuff wafting in my home. I’m sure the varieties used now are more pungent. As my ex smoked it and the smell didn’t affect me

Live in a first floor flat

? Medical cannabis clinic. It's been legal from private clinics in the UK since 2018.
Strictly speaking it should be vaporised though.

So many people on this site seem to have such a strong sense of smell. Their outside how much is the smell really going to drift.

Loads. My neighbours smoke weed. The smell fills my bedroom and makes me heave. I couldn’t care less that they smoke, just that it stinks.

That was my point, silly of her to think its just in “scummy areas” Like Sebastian and Arabella from Knightsbridge don’t get high.

I think it's inevitable weed will eventually be legal in UK, so you've just gotta get used to it. Yesterday I was waiting for the bus and a really well dressed lady,. Was smoking a weed pipe. No one batted an eyelid and a thought to myself if this was UK someone would post on Mumsnet about itSmile. People smoke weed, that's life!

Have you not smelt it when you’re just walking down the street? We’ve even smelt it driving along the motorway.
It is very pungent and often you can smell it from a long way off.

I don’t say it, I just think it.

Someone complaining on a local FB group was told that what they were smelling might not actually be weed. There’s a particular shrub that gives off a weedy-like pong when the sun hits it (apparently).

I beg to differ.

it smells rank and it’s such a strong pungent smell. It’s different to how it smelt a few decades ago and I really don’t think that my sence of smell has changed.
Maybe the smell of a compost heap or big pile of manure would mask the smell and dissuade them from sitting there. Tbh I think I’d prefer the smell of manure to that vomit smell of weed.

I've tried it every now and then and it hits me like a sledge hammer. Very good value. Like you would get it Amsterdam back in the day.
