AIBU to want my sister to leave my local crows alone?

I have been feeding a group of crows near my house and we’re just getting to the point where they wait for me now in a morning and come very close. My sister has decided she wants in on it but I’ve told her to go and find her own murder as I’ve put in all the hard work with these ones. I told her there is a murder across the way on the field she could do and feed.

this morning I was coming home from shop and there she was feeding Russel from my murder. I shouted at her and she shouted that they’re not my fucking crows, at the point a woman walking a dog walked past and tutted so sister shouted that they’re not my crows and I was shouting at her. The woman just carried on walking but this was right near my house!!

AIBU to think she should just go and feed the others???

Is this a joke? It reminds me of the thread where the sister was getting angry about ‘half a cup of coffee’

Probably the same fictional sister.

You don't have a DSis problem, you have a DRussel problem.

😂

Justbreathagain · 19/05/2026 14:43

This is hilarious

HarshbutTrue2 · 19/05/2026 14:43

This is hilarious. It sounds like a plot from Midsummer Murders

outerspacepotato · 19/05/2026 14:39

Did you ever pick up your bike?

TorroFerney · 19/05/2026 14:38

Ereshkigalangcleg · 19/05/2026 13:30

Give her some Kia ora to give to them, it’s too orangey for crows and they will flounce in disgust

Cheapeau.

However, being very serious do not piss off crows!

Ticktockwatchclock · 19/05/2026 14:38

Oh no, so who is going to feed the crows when you are on holiday with your sister and fighting about toilets or discussing bike storage? They will remember that you have abandoned them with no food.

FlashHeartFly · 19/05/2026 14:38

Are you saying she’s attempting a murder?

Sorry - I’ll see myself out.., *ruffles feathers and takes wing 😂

MilkyLeonard · 19/05/2026 14:36

I’m assuming this is a piss-take of something, but no idea what!

You're being completely unreasonable. I feed pigeons, crows, jackdaws, collard doves and small birds. As long as they were being fed properly it wouldn't bother me who fed them

What's this bike thread?

It’s an example of extreme sibling rivalry, played out in weird posts on a message board. Some of the situations depicted may or may not exist only in the posters head.

faithfultoGeorgeMichael · 19/05/2026 14:30

These bastards eat all the song birds eggs and chicks so I repel them with my special whistle 😂
But you could do this and start an actual crow war with your sister OP https://www.reddit.com/r/greentext/comments/5mi9nu/anon_starts_world_war_crow/

Honestly? I think you should consider writing sketch comedy, because this is absolute gold

You will never understand...

tommyhoundmum · 19/05/2026 14:28

There are crows that follow me round the common with my dog every morning. I give them dog treats. One takes the treat from my hand. He is the alpha. Since they all look alike it's hard to know how many there are.

What are you laying out for the buffet

🤣😂🤣

BotterMon · 19/05/2026 14:26

I can't believe Russel has cheated on you with your own sister! LTB.

(are you both 12?)

Lougle · 19/05/2026 14:21

I bet Russell answers to Derek for your DSis. Such a fickle little thing.

I also have a crow but mines called Dave as I felt Russell was too common a name 😄.

ETA: And I couldn't give a fuck who feeds him. And judging by the size of him, neither does he!

Doingtheboxerbeat · 19/05/2026 14:26

Having just read the bike thread 😱 I was on your side over the crow thing but wowsers 🫣. My bike is a pain in the arse in my own hallway, I couldn't do that to someone elses home - without permission.

putitonthewrongway · 19/05/2026 14:24

Get your ducks in a crow and LTB

Mumandcarer80 · 19/05/2026 14:24

Is this for real ffs? My dd likes to go and feed ducks at local ponds. Not bread btw I get the floating duck pellets. You don’t own wildlife.

LetMeGoogleThat · 19/05/2026 14:24

Clearly they're not your crows, they have zero loyalty and are in an affair situation with your sister. I'm sorry, but when it comes to Russell, you need to get your ducks in a row (They're not yours either!) And LTB.

I'm amazed at people researching previous threads, I'm actually quite envious at the commitment they have.

i also interested in the bike in the hallway thread.

I didn't need to research it, it's so obvious

cramptramp · 19/05/2026 14:22

Yeah, right 🙄
