To think the police telling her this mean she’s will be arrested next

Police gave her words of advice over online harassment. Does this mean an arrest is likely if she does it again?

I was referring to calling one's child a witch on a public forum.

It’s not like anyone can identify who the poster and the child is. It’s an anonymous forum.

My DD can be a little shit at times; thankfully she’s wonderful the majority of the time, and the light of my life. It’s not odd to admit that.

I imagine it was tongue in cheek and not entirely serious.

Recognising your child is behaving badly and stopping it is exactly the right way to parent. Maybe if more parents did the same the streets wouldn't have so many feral kids roaming around

Bloody hell. Way to support your kid!

OP, seriously, if you've posted on here as frequently as PPs are suggesting, always about the same thing, then I think you have issues with repetitive and obsessive behaviour. And if the police have taken action or warned you in any way, then isn't it time to listen to them and stop whatever you're doing?
If this is beyond you then you do need help from a professional. I don't know the background but I can see that whatever is happening will not end well unless you take action now.

ihearyoucalling · 07/05/2026 07:30

I'd stop posting stuff online if I were you

I hadn’t spoken to her in months the first incident was over 2 years ago. I posted online after she attacked me. I wouldn’t risk being arrested over someone like her.

Why did you post online after she attacked you?

What was the reason and shag were you hoping would be the outcome?

Writing about yourself in the third person doesn't change the fact everyone knows it's you posting about this AGAIN. Stop harassing people and the police won't have any reason to call on you at all!

Is this you again?

No, my dd (12 at the time) was harassed online by an adult man (a classmate’s dad who got her number from his son’s phone). He was trying to intimidate her to not be a witness against his son who was involved in an assault.

The police had words after I reported him. He was not arrested. The words are a caution to get you to stop being such a moron. So stop being such a moron. If they were going to arrest you, they would have. But don’t keep harassing this person!

Safarisagoody · 06/05/2026 21:37

Gosh you still at it?

Are you still harassing this woman despite being spoken to by the police? If yes then of course further action will be taken, and rightly so.

Am surprised that the police are still being so lenient. This poor woman

Bloody hell. Way to support your kid!

It was a very balanced account of her daughter's behaviour and the consequences of it.

The alternative is to stubbornly defend her DD when she's done wrong - which would be bad parenting.

Don't support a kid when they're doing a wrong thing.

Be a better parent.

Why would you support for kid for acting so nasty?

OP recognises her DD has done wrong (like all kids do) and got the consequences of it.
She sounds like a brilliant mum.

I dread to think how your kids behave if they never get consequences for their poor behaviour.

Butterme · 06/05/2026 20:55

Yes OP!

This is your warning and next time you will likely be arrested.

Stop doing whatever it is you’re doing else you risk being arrested and potentially jailed.

Noshadowsinthedarkness · 06/05/2026 20:51

I think it should be enough for anyone to take note!

If they had enough evidence or cause to arrest, surely they would do that rather than words of advice… but I have no idea, not a situation I have been in.

ChickenBananaBanana · 06/05/2026 20:49

You again

Error404FucksNotFound · 06/05/2026 20:49

Not necessarily, no.

Dollymylove · 06/05/2026 20:47

You posted this already. You were advised to stop the harassment.
Have you stopped?

PoppinjayPolly · 06/05/2026 20:40

SoScarletItWas · 06/05/2026 20:31

Didn’t we answer this the other day? And pretty much all said - if you’ve been given words of advice it should warn you to stop whatever you’re doing, or next time it could be a caution or arrest.

Whatever you think the other person is doing to ‘provoke’ you.

Edited

Knew hadn’t imagined it!

Tiggermad · 06/05/2026 20:35

Just don’t do it again problem solved.

Why would she support her kid when her kid’s been sending messages that are so bad the police get involved? Yeah, stand by them, but don’t pretend what they did is ok!
