It's almost the thing to do especially if you are an upper middle class family that has a child, usually a boy who isn't quite as academic as you hoped them to be. Parents put them in certain schools that promote the creative side of education, they do well in America.

I wonder who among the current lot of British actors comes from this kind of background

Oh i didnt realise, but i spotted another of her daughters on the show as well!

Even the ones that cry a past of poverty, you’ll find that they are related to or actually went to uni with hugely connected people or their parents did.

Many years ago, I worked for an agency representing people. It was quite eye opening how some of it was hidden.

A hill that I will die on is that Lillia Turner (lily in eastenders) is Stacey's real life sister - it doesnt matter but just irks me that theyre not open about it 😄
