AIBU to share a hotel room with my adult children?

I have been divorced for over 20 years and have had no interest in finding another partner. I occasionally go on holiday with my adult children, DD27 and DS25. We sometimes stay in Airbnbs and sometimes in hotels. AIBU to share a hotel room with them? We each have separate single beds and each get changed and washed in the bathroom with the door closed. I can afford to pay to take them away (I like 5* hotels which my DC couldn’t afford to pay for themselves) but I couldn’t afford to pay for multiple rooms. Everyone is happy with the arrangement. AIBU?

What a very odd question. Why ever would it be a problem? It's nobody's business but the three of you.

You're all happy with it so obviously it is fine. Has someone told you it isn't?

Everyone involved is happy so it's fine.

Silverbirchleaf · 02/05/2026 17:05

I would do the same.

You are unreasonable to start a thread about wha appears to be a complete non issue

tinyspiny · 02/05/2026 17:04

Not if it works for you . I’m happy to share a hotel room with my adult daughter and vice versa

CinnamonBuns67 · 02/05/2026 17:04

Yanbu as everyone is happy with the arrangement.

angelikacpickles · 02/05/2026 17:04

What could possibly be unreasonable about that?
