How many people have you slept with?

…and do you lie about it? I’m late 30s, 4 or 5 relationships, most 1-2 years, been married now for 6 years. I’ve slept with around 50 people (I know cos I made a list once!) Only 1 or 2 were ‘true’ one night stands. I know that’s a lot but I refuse to be ashamed of it, I had a lot of fun in my youth. When I was dating before my husband I never admitted it to anyone I was dating. I’d always say less than 10. So how many people have you slept with and do you freely admit it or do you reduce the number a lot if asked by people you’re dating or were dating before if you’re in a relationship? And how do you feel about the number?

In my late teen to mid twenties - fuck knows I was pretty wild 😂
definitely more than 50 but probably less than 100 😂

got married at 26 still married 26 years on and only slept with my husband since

I’ve definitely slept with more than my husband and he knows that but it’s never been an issue

49 single most of my life with the exception of a relationship of 8 years. 6 in total 5 of them last on about between 3 months and 6 months.
I must tell that I'm quite happy on my own so I don't look for relationship or one night stands.
I could have a hundred if I liked the romance, the fling and the one night sex, but I never been into it much.

I am mid 30s, been with my husband since I was 23. He was number 6. Only one one night stand, the others were some
sort of relationship. I don’t lie about it and think it’s probably fairly average?

I thought it referred to the number of people you'd murdered, not shagged 😅

I think it did originally!

Or the number of people who died in a particular incident.

Quite a lot.

Don't worry about it, the past is the past.

The ones that do cross my mind and cause me discomfort occasionally are those where, as a youngster, I 'did it' purely because I felt pressurised and wanted to get rid of them.

I’m in my early 70’s now and had a lot of “fun” in my late teens and early 20’s, and then a fair bit more between husbands!

So, two husbands with about an 10 year gap between them in my late 30’s/early 40’s, and a significant number of others. Not quite into 3 figures but not far short. No shame here at all. As for lying about it …. That very much depends on who I’m talking to.
