How many people have you slept with?

…and do you lie about it? I’m late 30s, 4 or 5 relationships, most 1-2 years, been married now for 6 years. I’ve slept with around 50 people (I know cos I made a list once!) Only 1 or 2 were ‘true’ one night stands. I know that’s a lot but I refuse to be ashamed of it, I had a lot of fun in my youth. When I was dating before my husband I never admitted it to anyone I was dating. I’d always say less than 10. So how many people have you slept with and do you freely admit it or do you reduce the number a lot if asked by people you’re dating or were dating before if you’re in a relationship? And how do you feel about the number?

Early 20s, I can’t remember the exact number (but could if I sat down and worked them all out). Neither DP nor I have asked each other, it’s just not really an issue.

I hate to say this, but does no-one on here, really think @coulditbeme2323 has a bit of a point? I don't think you have to be part of the manosphere to think that some men (many men probably) will be put off a woman who tells him she has slept with 100s of men.

Also though, it does work both ways, and most women - me included, as I said earlier - will be put off a man who says he has slept with 100s of women. Most people don't want to get into a relationship with someone who has shagged 100s and 100s of different people.

I bet the posters who have slept with 100 men or more don't tell any new partner this, and have never told their husband this either. If they have, I would also be very surprised if he was OK with it. But as I said, most women wouldn't be happy if a man they met claimed he had shagged 100s of women either! It's not a pop at women!

Sorry, but most people are going to be a bit Shock and then Hmm if a new partner they are dating tells them that they have shagged 100s of people. It's not about being prudish or part of the 'manosphere,' most people - in real life - will raise their eyebrows at someone making that claim.

Runs . >>>>>>. 🏃and hides 👀

I think many men definitely care about how many men a woman has slept with, and it's precisely the reason they don't ask. They don't want to know. If they knew that a woman has slept with 100 men, they'd feel jealous and insecure, but as long as they don't know they can pretend to be fine with it.

I have been mocked when I have disclosed that my number is 1 🫤 yes just my ex husband! most people I have disclosed this to have been shocked the other way😳

Only my late husband for me. I'm 66.

Most people don't want to get into a relationship with someone who has shagged 100s and 100s of different people.

Can you articulate why, out of interest? Is it the fact that they have slept with that many people or the conclusions you would draw about what 'type' of person they are and what they are interested in? ie. a man who has slept with 100's of women must only be interested in a shag, sees women as pieces of meat etc.

I only know one person who has slept with 1000+. It’s a family member (male). Over the decades, he has cheated multiple times on every single partner. Every time we met up, he’d bring a different person. So I would have serious reservations about entering a relationship with him (well, someone who wasn’t a family member obviously) because I just don’t compute that he can be faithful to anyone ever unless dick falls off.

Justdancinginthedark · 30/04/2026 12:00

1 my husband. I did sleep with him before getting married. I wanted to be in love first and did feel that way with anyone before him.

MyMilchick · 30/04/2026 11:59

My husband and myself never even asked each other this, we're late 40's/early 50's, it's not something you'd ask people back when we started seeing each other, I find it a bit odd that it seems something standard to ask and almost demanded these days when people start dating. Seems like a way for men to judge women, we've gone backwards in a lot of ways in regards to women's rights I think

DoraSpenlow · 30/04/2026 10:14

Don't you remember the penises of people you have slept with? I would if I had done.

No not at all! Wouldn't be able to recognise anyone's in a Penis line up.

Plenty were young drunken fumbles most a long time ago. Never even think about it.

My number is 2. Married the second one and been together for 34 years. I don’t feel I’ve missed out by not having a wild youth, sexually, though. I travelled, partied and enjoyed myself just without the risk of an STI…

WhatATimeToBeAlive · 30/04/2026 11:56

I don't know! But not ashamed of that - I had a lot of fun in my 20s and 30s.

AttachmentFTW · 30/04/2026 11:56

I'm mid thirties, married 6 years, had another LTR in my 20s, but prior to that I had a lot of fun. Last time I counted it was coming up to 50 but that was some years back. A few ONS, quite a few FWB situations. I enjoyed myself and regret little.

I have only been asked once, by a room of women at someone's birthday drinks. I was honest and they absolutely shamed me for it, I felt so uncomfortable. So if I was in a similar situation again I wouldn't lie but I might be evade the question.

Reallyneedsaholiday · 30/04/2026 11:55

I don’t lie about it, but neither do I answer the question. I don’t think it’s anyone else’s business, anymore than it would be mine to ask “them”.

OriginalSkang · 30/04/2026 11:54

I dated someone with a micro penis, it was the reason I ended it. I don't ever laugh about it. Perhaps I would have if he had been horrible! He was a friend and nice person though. He's been happily married for years

Thapnan · 30/04/2026 11:54

3
I’m nearing 50
Met DH as a teen. He was #3.
couldn’t give a shit who knows or wants to know or re any judgement

TheBlueRobin · 30/04/2026 11:53

9 people. Age 32

Three were long term relationships, including current partner. Others 3 I only slept with once and the others just a handful of times.

PumpkinsAndCoconuts · 30/04/2026 11:51

uhm… what counts as “sleeping with”?

Receiving and or giving oral or just penetrative (penis in vagina) intercourse?

For me it’s piv. Oral and hand jobs don’t count imo/e. Appreciate it may be different for others.

Notarealblonde · 30/04/2026 11:37

If that makes us sinners so be it. Haha! I do not feel guilty, no woman should for their choices.

I don’t feel guilty either. Why should I? Yes there were some unwise choices but I tried not to make those again.

No one who's seen my glorious yoni is smirking. They are counting their goddamn blessings.

Kind of got to ask yourself how weird her fanny looks if she reckons folks would remember it after half a century.

CasperGutman · 30/04/2026 11:50

One. I was a shy, awkward teenager and met my now-wife soon after I started at uni. We've been happy together for 25 years now.

User ‘Coulditbeme’ will be along shortly to publicly shame you, don’t worry 🤣.

Edited

🤣 I went to a private catholic school convent as a Protestant so I’m used to being shamed for my sins! By the nuns.

I have an ex who had a micro penis. I do chuckle to myself when I recall it.

I once slept with a man with one of those, it's all he went on about. It was really off putting.

  1. I'm 73, married for 53 years. So glad I don't have to bump into anyone smirking in the street remembering what my vulva looks like.

No one who's seen my glorious yoni is smirking. They are counting their goddamn blessings.

socks1107 · 30/04/2026 11:47

I’m late 40s and about 20 ( some I’ve probably forgotten about) I worked in an industry in my 20s where people were always sleeping with each other, or at parties. It’s just how it was tbh.
no regrets and am happily married now

coulditbeme2323 · 30/04/2026 10:24

I already answered that above.

Feels like you're the one judging here. It is nobody's current partner's business what they did before they met.

Maized · 30/04/2026 11:46

SpaceRaccoon · 30/04/2026 11:41

I briefly dated a guy with one of those. Was the weirdest thing. Poor bastard.

One of the best 'encounters' I ever had was with a guy with a micro. He had adapted and overcome his challenges by actually learning what women liked and found pleasurable, rather than just thinking 'putting it in and moving it backwards and forwards is enough' 🤣
