How many people have you slept with?

Fearlesssloth · 30/04/2026 09:50

…and do you lie about it? I’m late 30s, 4 or 5 relationships, most 1-2 years, been married now for 6 years. I’ve slept with around 50 people (I know cos I made a list once!) Only 1 or 2 were ‘true’ one night stands. I know that’s a lot but I refuse to be ashamed of it, I had a lot of fun in my youth. When I was dating before my husband I never admitted it to anyone I was dating. I’d always say less than 10. So how many people have you slept with and do you freely admit it or do you reduce the number a lot if asked by people you’re dating or were dating before if you’re in a relationship? And how do you feel about the number?

There is so much naivety on here.

You can all be as liberal and progressive as you like, but there is no husband out there who is happy with the mother of their children been shagged by 100 men.

They are either lying to you or a cuck.

I'm 99% certain you are a man and still live with your mum.

Depends on the men you associate with.

That's very true.

Intrigued I suppose, I can't imagine many men being okay with it to be honest.

Depends on the men you associate with.

Vohgue · 30/04/2026 13:20

Met my dh very young. Both of us had a few crazy nights before meeting each other, but no one after. Both 40s now ..

For those dating now, do you ask/know/judge when it comes to bodycount? I don't think I'd want to ask or know as I'd be put off dating a man who was say, 5 ppl or more

That's good! Mine unfortunately hadn't made that journey yet, he was really insecure about it. The first time I touched it he said miserably "I'm sorry it's not very big" and I was like holy shit you're not kidding (I didn't say that out loud though).
It was literally like my pinky from the first knuckle up, size-wise.

Oh bless him. That must be awful for a man having to explain that the first time you have sex. I think it would actually put a lot of women off too.

Fedup360 · 30/04/2026 13:18

Around 30, not proud of that I went through a bit of phase after 2 back to back DV relationships (I guess I just wanted love) I don’t recognise myself as that person anymore.

The kind of men I'm interested in don't care

This.

Loads. And no, I don’t lie but I don’t share. Only 3 people have ever asked me in my lifetime though

More than Mother Theresa, fewer than Bonnie Blue.

I can't imagine why I would need to tell anyone?

Love this 😂😂😂 I think that’s a safe place to be.

TheDehumidifierNeedsEmptying · 30/04/2026 13:16

I’d have to count which I can’t be bothered to do but I’d estimate around 7/8

I don’t see any point in lying about it or making up a number, no number is to be ashamed of.

RayofSunshine18 · 30/04/2026 13:16

I am 39 and my number is mid 30's. Funnily enough the first person I slept with, will also be the man I marry!

SouthLondonMum22 · 30/04/2026 13:15

I don't know for sure. Probably about 100 or approaching 100.

No regrets. Fun times.

Username19893847477374 · 30/04/2026 13:14

I'm 39 and genuinely don't know, but probably around 50 people? A few threesomes which I'm counting as 2 people 😆

appleberryhandcream · 30/04/2026 13:14

4

first boyfriend
second boyfrind
fling (only did it a handful of times)
husband (met at 22)

To be honest, I wish I had experienced a bit more when I was younger. There were a couple of other guys in those younger years but didn’t go beyond a fumble and I wish it had. I feel it would be good to have experienced a bit more of that side of things before settling down.

Although I guess there’s really only so many ways to do it? Maybe I’m not missing out on much.

Don’t know husbands number although I know (from them being mentioned) he’s had at least 4 girlfriends plus a casual thing, so that’s 5 for sure…but flings, one night stands etc, I don’t know.

WinterNightStars · 30/04/2026 13:14

  1. I'm 73, married for 53 years. So glad I don't have to bump into anyone smirking in the street remembering what my vulva looks like.

Do you have a particularly funny fanny?

How are people defining ‘slept with’?

Growlybear83 · 30/04/2026 13:11

Im 68 and I slept with 11 people before I met my husband just before my 18th birthday, one of whom was a fiancé. I dont regret most of them, but I was very young and only ever slept with someone who I thought I was in love with, with the exception of one one night stand, which Ive always really regretted. It’s one thing sharing information like this on an anonymous forum but it’s certainly not something I’m proud of , and would not willingly discuss with anyone in real life.

UnhappyHobbit · 30/04/2026 13:11

Are we counting those men that we tried to sleep with, but it was just a bit too floppy?

BunnyLake · 30/04/2026 13:09

Stupo · 30/04/2026 12:41

Me neither. I doubt I have felt enough of a connection to really fancy more than 15 men. I need connection mentally. If I don’t have that I wouldn’t be interested physically. My number is therefore only around 8.

My friend slept with a a lot of men when divorced but she regrets it now. She thinks she was just lashing out and trying to show her ex and look for validation.

Everyone is different.

If it’s just sex then attractiveness would be the top requirement. Personality wise, as long as they weren't the manosphere type, then I wouldn’t necessarily need a connection if it was just a shag.

It’s probably just as well I didn’t find many men attractive as the only ONS I ever had (not sure if it was a ONS as he was a work colleague I already knew, not a stranger) gave me genital warts 🤦‍♀️. Over thirty year’s ago now but still makes me cringe. He was a sweater wearing engineer as well, not some arty or showy type 😖

blubberball · 30/04/2026 13:09

PenelopePinkerton · 30/04/2026 13:02

Or they are concerned for their own health.

A number won't tell them anything. Before getting physical, they need the person to go to the doctor, get tested and show the test results to KNOW if the other person has an STD or STI. People can just lie about a number any way. It tells you no facts and you can never corroborate the number

Notmeagain12 · 30/04/2026 13:08

BatchCookBabe · 30/04/2026 11:06

I hate to say this, but does no-one on here, really think @coulditbeme2323 has a bit of a point? I don't think you have to be part of the manosphere to think that some men (many men probably) will be put off a woman who tells him she has slept with 100s of men.

Also though, it does work both ways, and most women - me included, as I said earlier - will be put off a man who says he has slept with 100s of women. Most people don't want to get into a relationship with someone who has shagged 100s and 100s of different people.

I bet the posters who have slept with 100 men or more don't tell any new partner this, and have never told their husband this either. If they have, I would also be very surprised if he was OK with it. But as I said, most women wouldn't be happy if a man they met claimed he had shagged 100s of women either! It's not a pop at women!

Sorry, but most people are going to be a bit Shock and then Hmm if a new partner they are dating tells them that they have shagged 100s of people. It's not about being prudish or part of the 'manosphere,' most people - in real life - will raise their eyebrows at someone making that claim.

Runs . >>>>>>. 🏃and hides 👀

No I don’t think they have a point.

i would worry that someone who had slept with so many men/women had other issues- like a few posters have mentioned, rape, trafficked, low self esteem, need for love, chronic infidelity or whatever. That would bother me more than the actual sex, and would be harder to deal with in a relationship.

A single person having sex because they want to, in a consensual situation, taking care of their sexual health and being responsible about it. Crack on.

teaandtoastwithmarmite · 30/04/2026 13:08

I think it’s about 9 but I was with someone from 18-21 and met my now husband aged 21 so most of it was between the ages of 17-18 and I met a lot of user dickheads
