Could Zack Polanski be any more of an obnoxious twat?

Just seen him saying this:

'I am concerned about the rise in antisemitism and we know Jewish communities are saying they feel unsafe. There is a conversation to be had over whether it's a perception that they feel unsafe or whether they are actually unsafe.'

WTAF? Can you imagine if a politician said that to Muslims after a series of absolutely awful targeted attacks where people have died?

Yes, as pp have said, it's just sown hatred. The chanting, the banners, the badges, the placards, slogans and graffiti have been allowed to dominate a space, without thought or reflection.

It has sown hatred.

What good could come out of "globalise the intifada", calling The Houthis to stop ships, screaming 'Free Palestine ' in the faces of people in the UK. It did nothing good, but encouraged and emboldened hatred against innocent Jewish people here in the UK.

Yes, and the same people are strangely silent about people being persecuted in so many other places: Nigeria, Sudan, China etc etc.

I feel sad for the Jewish community. Now I know why they have a saying about keeping a suitcase by the door.

Absolutely. It makes me so angry that this is Britain in 2026, a supposedly diverse, multicultural, progressive society.
We have a minority group scared to identify themselves, scared to share their heritage and religion, and scared to go to their places of worship.
Shocking.

Ilikesundays · 29/04/2026 17:56

Considering two Jewish men suffered serious stab wounds while walking along a main shopping road in Golders Green today, I’d say the fear is very real and justified. Polanski and his Palestine Action followers have a lot to answer for the anti-Jewish hatred that’s only too prevalent.

It's so bad. I wish all those leftists on the pro-Palestine demos, who are really only there because it's a trendy cause, would pause to think about what they're doing. Their anger towards Israel spills over into harming ordinary Jews in the UK who are not responsible for Israeli government actions.

If I was them I would no longer be going on those demos.

He's certainly enabling hate and division. It's heartbreaking. My elderly neighbours are now too scared to go to their synagogue, and that makes me so angry on their behalf. I've offered to drive them and collect but they're scared someone will force their way in.
They are mid 80s 😢

The Left has always been a magnet for three types of people. First, the bitter, destructive, hate-filled type. Second, those with a martyr/saviour complex. And third, those in search of a purpose/substitute for religion. I see a bit of all three in Polanski.

Ihatetomatoes · 29/04/2026 16:55

ScarlettOYara · 29/04/2026 16:54

Well, they've certainly "Globalised the Intifada", as they promised.

Sadly they have. All those marchers achieved is the spreading of hatred.

Portakalkedi · 29/04/2026 16:55

No probably not, from what I've seen I'm amazed there are people mad enough to vote for him. He makes the other party leaders look noble in comparison. (and he gives me the creeps)

ScarlettOYara · 29/04/2026 16:54

Ihatetomatoes · 29/04/2026 16:51

Awful.

The hatred for Jewish people in the UK and blaming them for Gaza is ludicrous and appalling. Dumb people screaming 'Free Palestine ' in the UK as they annoy people in London and other areas are not doing anything for Palestinians but are spreading hatred on our streets.

Well, they've certainly "Globalised the Intifada", as they promised.

That's appalling, do this dumb ass individuals not understand that spreading hate here doesn't help Gaza or Iran.

Breaking news that two Jewish men have been seriously injured after a stabbing in Golders Green this morning. Suspect has been tasered by police. No idea of the full details yet, but I'd bet my house on it that this is an anti-semitic attack, probably carried out by a Muslim, or at least by someone who thinks they are doing it in solidarity with Palestinians.

Perhaps Zach might like to do a quick hospital visit with some grapes and a helium balloon saying GET WELL SOON, and see if they are up for having that conversation he thinks needs having. The one where he tells them that Jews are not unsafe, they just perceive themselves to be.

Thankfully brave citizens helped apprehend the attacker. I saw some foolish people using the phone to record instead of helping to keep the attackers down.

Typical. Although, I suppose extra footage could be useful as evidence.
I'm glad some people were brave enough to intervene.

Agree. You can't refer to Hamas as "friends" yet somehow claim not to be antisemitic.

You can't make a close friend of Chris Williamson and try it either, but that's what Corbyn did

Useful reminders though, for those who try to pretend he's not antisemitic

Edited to add there were some worthwhile remarks from Mark Rowley about the latest hideous attack, but they are just words and it'll be interesting to see if the Met back them up

He's dropped a tiny vague turd on X that doesn't mention Jews and is just "thinking" of people.

Fuck him and his rancid party and his pusillanimous attempt at a power grab by legitimising antisemites because he couldn't grow women's boobs. No statesmanship, no principles.

This, x 💯

Hell will freeze over before that Polanski twat says anything useful. I seriously am hating him more than Farage at the moment. And I can’t bear Farage!!

I’m Jewish and I live about 2 miles from Golders Green - it’s very frightening. Often pass through it and occasionally shop there.
Zach needs a fucking wake up call. Perceived anti-semitism my arse.

Sir Mark Rowley of the Met is making a very very strong statement. The best I have heard for some time.

Sky news had an interview with a community leader who very rightly said that Polanski needs to get his house in order.

Still anti-semitism is just a perception, isn't it Zack.

He disgusts me profoundly.

He's got some nerve. These people would stab him without hesitation, and he's a fool not to realise this.

It'll probably be quicker to compile a list of the ones who don't.

Greens have been parasitised by perverts and antisemites. Dave is a political opportunist, a puppet "as a Jew" leader and a fucking twat. The only tit he's ever made bigger is himself.
