Will i lose my leg

i’ve had a bit of a fall down couple of steps. It’s literally gone all black round my ankle.

Bit of a jump (no pun intended) from a bruised ankle to an amputation.

If you think it's that badly injured you need proper medical care, not advice from random mumsnetters. Get to a&e or minor injuries.

Go to A and E. I very much doubt you will lose your leg, but you do need medical attention.

Yes. Every time anyone twists their ankle it's off with the whole leg. Standard medical practice I'm afraid.

Put it up and ice it. You should probably go and get it xrayed as there may be a break (I did exactly the same a few months ago and fractured a bone)

People don't tend to lose their legs when they fall down steps, no.
