But it is not the UK's flag. It's a Tommy Robinson flag, produced in China, which he makes money from selling. So calling the horrible thing "the fucking flag" is fair comment.

You dont need to be of colour to be an immigrant though. My father lived most of his childhood in New Zealand as his parents were missionaries. He was still an immigrant though. If you are here legally, paying your taxes and not planning murder, rape or terrorist actions, then you need to understand that there is nothing in the flag flying actions of other’s that should cause you offence.
However, as you live in the United Kingdom, you live under The Jack, whether you like it or not, you also live under the Flags of England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales, depending on your location.
There is no need to insult our flag, no matter the slogan.
There is no need to think you are some sort of target.
There is certainly no need to brand someone displaying or marching with a flag of the nation racist.
Before you critique people, perhaps educate yourself by learning about their objectives, aims and goals.

But where have you got this number from?! As fast as I can see “Almost 37,000 people crossed the Channel in small boats in 2024 but the highest figures were for 2022, when 45,755 people arrived.” That is nowhere near a thousand a day. Are you referring to a headline where over 1,100 arrived on one day? That obviously doesn’t mean every day that number are arriving so you have either misunderstood or are deliberately wanting to mislead for dramatic effect.

I agree. I worked with quite a number of Muslim colleagues some years ago, and their racism towards other communities in our town was truly shocking! Like really awful towards them, very rude and derogatory and full of hate. It was really saddening.

You were born to immigrant parents but you aren’t one. Maybe look around and see how well you and your family have integrated into British culture - do you speak English, do you obey the law, do not you respect British customs and traditions? / including free speech which you may not agree with - Yes to all those - then it’s nothing for you to get in a huff over.

Anyone supporting the whole Tommy Robinson flag bollocks is a racist whether they care to admit it or not, it doesn’t change the fact that they are. I feel sorry for all those who proudly had a flag up a flag pole before old TR of Irish immigrant descent made all his racist supporters hide behind a slogan of fake patriotism who are now getting tarred with the same brush. I know people around here who have removed their flags because of it. As someone who’s had their DNA tested and is 97% British descent I cannot think of anything less British or patriot than sticking a £1 Poundland flag halfway up a lamp post in an attempt to intimidate people who they deem not British enough.

Are they even flooding the country. They are a tiny proportion of immigration and an even smaller proportion of the population as a whole. And lots of them will get deported anyway now that Labour have ungunmed the home office and started deporting failed claimants.

Which he is entitled to do on his own property. There are no flags in my road but I would put one up if I was not a woman living on her own. My concerns are around the illegal immigrants flooding the country. We have no control on who they are, if they have criminal records etc. And before you pull the racist card, I work for and with Muslims and I have 2 mixed race grandchildren.
