TV ads that drive you crazy

I mean, how many sweets must Haribo sell, to be able to afford to show their irritating ads SO often?

That Direct Cremation one where the woman is hovering outside the bathroom banging on to her husband, who is in the bath, about the lovely funeral they’ve just been to. Why on earth wouldn’t she just go in and sit on the loo to talk to him?

Any perfume/aftershave ad, the fundamental problem being that if I can't smell the product, (and its smell is the only reason it exists) how the hell can I decide whether I'd want to buy it??!!! Johnny Depp needs a good wash, and clearly Sauvage smells. Also any gambling ad, particularly the guy that looks like Del Boy dancing and singing. I can just about tolerate the Omaze ads now the voice over has changed. Original woman's intonation was weird and irritating. The holiday advert with the fat family that endlessly appeared during the ad breaks for the masked singer. I had to mute this and look away every time this was on. I tend to watch BBC, and record programmes from the other channels to avoid the ads.But even the BBC now has trailers for its own programmes that are more like adverts, and I get fed up with these,.

OMG there is nothing worse than the Indeed one about his salary. It gives me the rage.

OMG that is fecking awful! It's on every ad break when you play Channel 4 On Demand! So it's hard to avoid.

'Errrr I think you, as an employer, should tell me what the salary is.....' 'no you say what you want.' 'But you tell me what it is please.' 'But YOU need to tell me what you want.' 'But maybe you could give me an idea.' 'No YOU!'

Fecking daft, annoying ad. And he has an annoying pinched little face! 😆

There’s one in Scotland just now for Macintosh foods like stovies and macaroni cheese. It’s horrendous, a family with really bad pseudo posh Glaswegians accents saying shite like “it’s absolutely belting”. Just awful.

There's a new one I posted about yesterday for Sofology. A mom and daughter are in a pet shop choosing a Guinea pig, they reject several and then get a colour swatch out and it turns out they want one in rusty brown to match their new sofa!
Don't know why but it just annoyed me.

I said to dp that she could stand outside Tesco,handing that stuff out for free with £100 in cash and I still wouldn't use it

Robinsons fruit juice with the kid what gets into trouble at school and his mum laughs about it

Also, some of the ads in the afternoons for pension plans and funeral plans and cruises. They go on for 5 minutes. (Feels like 20!) DH and I tend to record stuff, then start watching it 20 minutes in (so we can cut out most of the ad breaks.) Or we watch it later that day. The long, way too frequent ad breaks are soul destroying. 😖

And the OMAZE house ads. ARGHHHHHHH! 😧

She was/is a social media influencer who became a bit more famous by being on Love Island a few years ago. She had a baby with Tyson Fury's brother. (Tommy.) They're broken up now. Bit of a talentless and irrelevant nobody to be honest. Not shocked that you haven't heard of her. I have, because I do like to watch crap telly! 😆 (As well as good telly too!)
