To think most men are filthy losers

I'm going through the menopause, so have a low libido at the moment, which might explain my disgust. I don't know. I didn't use to be a prude, but I'm feeling more and more annoyed these days by men and their general behaviour.

I have a few male friends who, to varying degrees, always manage to slip in an innuendo or even an outright sexual remark. And out of politeness, or not wanting to cause a scene, I smile or roll my eyes in jest. I can only think of one occasion when I told a bloke to stop, and he REALLY took the hump. This was a married man who pursued me, but then said he was just joking and that I took myself too seriously. In fact, he got very angry.

I have lots of personal issues at the moment. Mad stuff. One of these issues lead to me googling my ex.

Well, the filth I found was disturbing. Men, thousands of them, masturbating online. I can only think they're doing it in front of each other. Becsuse there can't be many women wanting to sit and watch them. Surely? My ex was one of them.

I'm not talking about Only Fans where people pay. I'm talking about sex webcam stuff where men seem to just be filming themselves wanking. And watching each other. I don't even think it's gay. These are heterosexual men doing it for free. All ages.

Maybe I'm naïve.

But it's been a real eye opener for me.

I always knew men watched porn. But sitting there filming themselves and watching each other. It's madness.

I really do think that we, as women, spend our time worrying, working, caring, thinking, planning... and men just do the stuff thry have to do and then go back to messing with themselves or pestering women. Including their wives. And they keep having to up the limit because they can't get excited uness it's something really vile.

How many of us have felt obliged to have sex with a man, a partner, to avoid his anger, sulking, grumpiness. We've chosen sex as the lesser of two evils when we didn't want it.

It's not a human right, is it? They need to calm the fuck down.

Maybe I'm being unreasonable and grumpy, but I just think most of them ming.

I really feel for you. God, the stories on this thread. It just goes to show.

It might be an idea to buy yourself a wedding ring / it might deter some of theses vile people. Im really sorry you’re experiencing this.

I just wish I could feel safe some of the time. I live on my own and Im always checking the door and window locks.
I have 2 male friends I feel safe with and could go to if anything happened but in the last two years I've had a male colleague much younger than me lock me in a room and show me his penis. A male cleaner who wanted to take my key home and ringing and texting all the time and coming round when he had no cleaning to do, I've sacked him now. This was from a legitimate cleaning agency. A gardner who tried to extort money from me with violence and someone I know who I refused a date with who came round and threw eggs at my windows. A plasterer who I had to report to the police.
Im 63 for God's sake. I thought my days of being flashed at and threatened were over.
Neighbours who are men can be nasty too because they know Im a single woman who lives alone. Sometimes for no reason. When I was married men left me alone but then I feared going home to my husband.
Does it never end?

Yep. The mansplaining MRAs can't seem to let that sink in. (Some) women don't loathe most men for no reason. If any women on here have never had ANY reason to dislike or resent men, they are very VERY fortunate, and I envy them.

I find typically that women who really resent and dislike (most) men are older (45-50+,) because by that age, you have put up with so much fucking shit from men, that it's hard to feel anything other than contempt for them.

Do you remember the discussions about whether a woman would rather be in the forest with a man or a bear?

That got the mens up in arms as well. But no amount of explaining from woman as to why most would choose the bear was going to sink in then either. And what happened, so many became angrier. And were not stopping having their say. They went on and on about it. I am pretty sure the MRA's have been out moreso, in full force since then.

And here we see similar. There were quite a lot of women I spoke to who chose the man. And from what I established, was those women were either

  1. very fortunate to have not been subjected to abuse, sexual assaults and gender based violence OR,
  2. they were so downtrodden that didn't feel that could make their own decision, and went with the 'what he wants to hear' reply. This was such an eye opener to me, as even their own thoughts and feelings were taken from them.

Of course, these two do not apply to everyone, but in that group I was in, these two options were very much so the case.

It'd be fantastic, but you'd probably need a bunch of filthy losers to put in all the infrastructure.

Oh, I know.

There are absolutely NO female builders, plumbers, or engineers. None. Not anywhere.

What about dentists, surgeons, teachers? Nothing.

It's all men.

There are no female leaders.

No farmers. Women can't grow shit!!!

We all have to rely on men for those things.

Female mechanics? Nope.

Accountants? Nope.

Politicans? Nope.

Nothing.

I don't know what those women on the island are going to do.

I can't think of ANY female scientists.

And I don't think women understand electricity.

They'll have to open an OnlyFans account, lezzing it up for the boys, which will bring them in enough money to get the lads over to the island to sort everything out.

How are they going to transport stuff to and from the island? I haven't ever heard of a woman being able to sail a boat.

The whole plan is outrageous. They're absolutely fucked those women on that island.

Yeah, but the flipside is greedy women on the take. There's a current thread in AIBU where the OP shares custody 50/50 with the father. She already gets both child benefit payments but has now decided to go for maintenance too having found out how much her ex-h is earning.

Custody is 50/50 and she admitted the father has had the kids for more days than her this year. He's put in a claim for child benefit (presumably to stop her presenting herself as the primary carer) and she's furiously indignant about it although he's done the majority of the childcare and never complained about her having both CB payments.

I see this shit from a lot of women. Even if marriage means assets are now shared, I think I'd feel grabby walking away with far more than I'd ever have earnt on my own.

What's that got to do with a high proportion of men being perverts?

One example from this entire site..... Would you now like to count up the number of examples of men behaving exactly as this thread describes? Actually, no - don't: no-one should have to spend three days doing that.

Yep, and IIRC that woman quite rightly had her backside handed to her on that thread.

ToutesetBonne · 09/09/2025 09:45

SerafinasGoose · 08/09/2025 17:52

I agree. As the mother of a son it really concerns me. Both he and his father have done our damndest to raise him as a considerate member of society who doesn't view women as service humans or despise them simply for speaking or taking up space. We've tried to lead by that example and we don't hold with 'toxic masculinity' stereotypes or the 'boys will be boys' mentality.

But there's a caveat. Like most mothers I think my son is lovely. He's a kind, intelligent, empathetic child. My fear is that don't raise our kids in a vacuum. Given the way men are raised and socially conditioned, the influences he might be subjected to outside the home do worry me.

Disclaiming responsibility, thinking our own can do no wrong and refusing to see what's beyond the end of our noses will do nothing at all to help the situation. Parents all have a responsibility to raise our boys to be better men - it starts in childhood.

And no, it's not all men. But enough of them are like that to make life for women a real problem on a more-or-less daily basis. It is not being 'bigoted' to point out that fact.

What a wise and honest post: your son is very lucky to have you as his mother.

ToutesetBonne · 09/09/2025 09:34

converseandjeans · 08/09/2025 14:37

@JHound the father has 50/50 custody & works. He also gives the Mum £1000/month so DD has same standard of living. The Mum gets child benefits, tax credit as well as this £1000 maintenance. So she’s not really given up her career as she only has 50% custody & has now moved the daughter out of her home. So I would support the father on this occasion.

One example from this entire site..... Would you now like to count up the number of examples of men behaving exactly as this thread describes? Actually, no - don't: no-one should have to spend three days doing that.

GarlicPint · 08/09/2025 22:46

@GingerPower, thank you for reminding us all that 'the patriarchy', 'the manosphere' or 'men' (choose your term) is so determined NOT to treat women as adult human individuals, not even worthy of the vote, that women have always had to wrest basic human rights from male clutches.

And also of how recently, in the span of civilisation, women won basic human rights. They are still fragile and can, as we've seen, be ripped away at any time by men because men still hold most of the power. Thank you for reminding us and for demonstrating that this threat's ever-present. We still need to fight it.

I can see your point. But, I still think what you're describing is a man problem rather than a race problem. It's like Andrew Tate and his kind having sex with what he calls "cheap" women, but only marrying virgins. The men in your scenarios see European women or women on council estates to be the "slags". Probably because the women in their communities are "off-limits". Much like in the Christian comunities in America. Men take their daughters to those weird "wait-for-marriage" balls while getting up to all sorts of nasty stuff when nobody's looking. I think cultrally, maybe men abuse women in different ways. We've seen Pakistani men gang raping. It's happened. It's happening. It's disgusting on every level. But, in my family, my mother's uncle had sex with his daughter and granddaughter. A white man. We can't say that's any less disgusting. It's all a problem with men. They're just doing it in different ways. Pakistani men do not offend more per capita in the UK. Most sex crimes in the UK are comitted by individual, white men.

I think I was called racist somewhere on this thread because I said something about white people painting roundabouts in the UK. I said this as a white person from the UK. But, I meant that's what they call themselves. I'm sure there are people of different ethnic origins painting crosses on roundabouts, but to my mind, they're all thugs.

I believe that biological sex is real and that people can't change sex, by the way.

Yeah, it should also be noted that a lot of Pakistani girls suffer sexual abuse. Matthew Syed, himself half-Pakistani, has found high prevalence of father-daughter and sibling incest in the British Pakistani Community.

The grooming gangs also targeted Asian girls, including Sikh, it seems they may have been targeting non Muslims and unprotected girls more than white girls per se though anti-white racial attitude were definitely a factor.

And you might want to check the top 10 countries involved in modern slavery, OP. Last time I checked Russia was the only majority white country on the list and was in 10th place. So arguably not a single western country in the top 10.

And FYI there are over 3x the number of slaves in the world today than were trafficked over the entire 300-400 years of the transatlantic slave trade!

Which sex are most of the perpetrators of slavery? And which sex are most of the slaves? Which sex profits from the vast majority of modern slavery worldwide?

My thread is initially about men. And most of them being filthy losers. It doesn't really matter what race they are. I'm talking about men. All races combined.

I also can't believe how many times I've been called a bigot. And even a racist. It's something I don't understand. I just don't really believe that we can be bigoted towards an oppressor. Or racist about white people. It just doesn't sound right to me.

The Oxford definition of racism is 'the belief that some races are superior to others and the resulting prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed against someone of a different race'.

Most dictionaries just describe it as 'prejudice by an individual, community, or institution against a person or people on the basis of their membership of a particular racial or ethnic group'.

There's no implied hierarchy or special qualifiers to entry. It's literally discrimination on the basis of ethnicity or race. This idea that 'white people can't experience racism' is just a load of revisionist bollocks that's arisen amongst certain pseudo woke ideologies in the past few years alongside other bonkers claims like 'biological sex isn't real'.

Typically, it's accompanied by an overly simplistic view that posits white as privileged and non-white as oppressed. Like most class analysis this doesn't really work in reality. Take Rotherham as an example. The white working class girls from the care system had no power over the middle aged Pakistani men abusing them.

One man from the Newcastle gang said "All white women are only good for one thing — for men like me to fuck and use like trash.” This is an example of racism.

Also, look at the debauchery that happens in the middle east. You may have heard of 'porta potty parties'. It's when rich Arab men pay white western sex workers (often Eastern European) to fly out and debase themselves for money. The nickname is a reference to how the men literally urinate and defecate over these women - use them as porta potties. Apparently, it's preferred that the woman has an Instagram presence. I'm guessing that this just adds to the thrill of humiliating a western women.

I'm not really sure white privilege exists in this case when we're taking about mega rich Arabs and impoverished Eastern European models/sex workers. There was a story recently about a European girl that allegedly flew out to one of these parties. Her name sounded Russian/Ukrainian.

She was found by the side of the road with broken limbs, a broken spine, and a cut on her head consistent with somebody having tried to scalp her. The authorities said she never made it to the party and had instead wondered into a building site by accident and fallen from height. Like how the fuck does that happen? She couldn't speak nor recognise her family at first. She's now in a wheelchair.

The whole situation seems rather unclear and it's been suggested that she was paid off, because she's claimed that no Arabs were involved, which seems a very specific thing to want to clarify. And the Dubai authorities funded her medical treatment at an immense cost.

Either way, regardless of the above case there are loads or other examples of this stuff going on. It's ludicrous to say that white people can't experience racism because there are places where white people aren't the demographic with the most power and privilege.

I can see your point. But, I still think what you're describing is a man problem rather than a race problem.
