Worrying not heard from husband

So I used to be a bad worrier and have been a lot better lately. However my husband left for work at 7am and got the train near us. He text at 710 so knew he was on the train. Now I can’t get hold of him. The WhatsApp’s are going through with one tick. He hasn’t been online. He isn’t answering when I phone. I’ve emailed him at work and no reply. Now he could be in a meeting without his phone.
He would arrive at work at around 830/845 as it’s about a mile walk from the station.. and it’s about an hours drive away from me at work.

Now I am panicking as his phone just rings. And WhatsApp are still on grey. He could be in a meeting without his phone which isn’t unusual but I don’t know what to do if I don’t hear from him. I can’t relax. All sorts of horrible scenarios have gone through my head and I have horrible anxiety stomach ache!

He’s been in touch to say there’s an outtage with 3.

I am aware I am in the wrong and yes posting this and being told I am crazy did reassure me! But also encouraged me to get help.

Stuff happens. I forgot my phone on the day of the July bombings in London in 2005. My route to the office was down Upper Woburn Place so my OH was frantic.

Fortunately we still had office landlines so I could call her.

God there's some really shitty responses on here.

She’s posted on Aibu - people are responding that yes she IBU. No one has called her names (as she is doing in response) but are pointing out that’s she acting in a damaging and hysterical manner which she needs help for.

Don’t ask people a question on AIBU and then get angry and defensive when you’re told “yes, you are”.

I'm not talking about the people who said 'yes you are' I'm talking about the rude, condescending and unsympathetic comments to a woman who is acknowledging it was an issue. AIBU is not a synonym for give an OP a kicking. 🙄

That level of panic and anxiety must be terrible to go through. I hope you feel better now he's been in touch. You must be exhausted! Fingers crossed you get the right help at your GP appointment.
Your thread made me realise that I haven't seen or spoken to dh since last night, he left for work before i woke up. I don't even know what city he is in at the moment, he could be anywhere! It would never cross my mind to worry unless he didn't arrive home in the evening.

I hope you’re feeling better OP. Try not to take the posters being nasty to heart. Clearly a lot of people don’t understand mental illness and think it’s something you can just turn off. If you could then mental illness wouldn’t exist! And just because you posted this in AIBU doesn’t mean you deserve a kicking, there’s plenty of nasty comments on chat as well. Some of them just like to feel big and tough. I hope you manage to get some medication sorted that works for you and I can tell from your posts this level of anxiety has taken you by surprise.
