To think that a lot of genuinely beautiful people ruin themselves with plastic surgery etc?

I’m going to throw Joanna Lumley into the mix. Suddenly got a very tight jawline, swears she cuts her own hair …….. really ?

I find it really sad that young girls now feel the need to have synthetic lips and Botox , teenagers feel ugly and want these treatments , so many young women look like clones with big lips , big breasts and flat faces😱whatever happened to women’s lib !!!!

I agree - most plastic surgery just looks weird and creepy in the flesh - I often see quite young women with mouths like Donald duck - I can't imagine anyone finding that attractive

Chosennone, I had a gastric bypass so once I’d dropped 10stone I felt amazing and could breath normally, run with my grandchildren and sleep without snoring or stopping breathing! So I had my loose skin nipped and tucked an eyelid lift etc… I think and actually so does everyone else, look gorgeous!

So sad that women can't just look their age. Men go grey and get called distinguished but when women do, they get called old by both men and women. I don't care if I look my age, that's my age!

I think one procedure is ok but its knowing when to stop, a lot all look the same

Today is so vulgar and obsessed with ourselfs appearance, children are being rammed with ‘perfection’ down their throats at every opportunity. There’s nothing more beautiful than a woman/girl who loves herself truly the way she is. Can’t blame children for what there being brain washed in, my niece who is only 17 has turned round and said she wants lip fillers, needless to say she watches crap like love island where these people are paid to indorse these big companies products such as fillers, Botox ect……..disgusting

The Swan in the US . Where some woman has a loser boyfriend who has dumped her . A team work on her . Credit card swipe cleavage check , tits bigger than a bouncy castle, hair extensions, lips plumped to labia glossed proportions , fake tan, weight loss , lazer eye surgery then they present her in front of the ex boyfriend ( out of the bandages) Would you consider going back out with her. He nodding enthused at how they have pimped his ride and then they have a prom reveal of friends and family Q close up of teary eyes. I can only watch and think wasn’t this part of Goebells masterplan and it looks like the plastic surgeons just carried the mantra . Every Surgeon seems to ignore their own advice and are allowed faces with Character. There is a Sebstian Tellier film set in the future where everyone is homogenised with surgery . It’s called Steak . As they say don’t over egg the pudding sometimes I think that it must be addictive like doing up the house. You have new floors now the cupboards look shit . It could just never end and I suppose a captive consumer is the ideal

It's a weird trend in Hollywood that when you reach a certain age you look like you're wearing a mask of your former self.

This is honestly one of the things that truly mystifies and floors me.

I mean, who does Madonna think she's kidding. Everyone on the planet knows she's well over 60. What is in her mind?

And everyone else who has bought into this madness - there are thousands of examples.

I think we are becoming accustomed to seeing so many women especially on TV that are heavily Botoxed that standards of what looks normal is changing

Nobody looks 30 years younger. I don't think many people can even look 10 years younger. People's faces are of their era - it's impossible to get past that.

Definitely don't agree that plastic surgery never looks good - look up Blake Lively's nose job(s).

And the rest. The face we see was basically bought. Same with Megan Fox.

Kathleen Turner had an eye lift a few years ago and has spoken about considering more work.

I think what's she done wisely is to not go overboard on Botox or fillers, although I'm sure she's had some done, and instead have jaw and eye lifts. She does look her age, and she does have wrinkles, but imo it's sagging and jowliness, not wrinkles, which are much more unattractive.

Ditto Sharon Stone. She's clearly had work, but it's been good work. Susan Sarandon is another.
