Has anyone watched The Killing of Jessica Chambers??

I've nearly finished it on NowTv.

It seems so bloody obvious to me that he's saying "Eric did this" with a severely burned throat and mouth could be her trying to say "Jerry king did this"

She couldn't pronounce the C to her surname so how about she couldn't pronounce the J to Jerry King?

Erry King could easily been mistaken for Eric.

He had evidence (her keys which he tampered with) he wasn't questioned (that I'm aware?!) no idea whether he has an alibi and previously been arrested for indecent exposure.

Why hasn't this been explored in depth?!

Yes I’ve watched it and she definitely wasn’t saying Eric. The same as Adnan Syed case poor girl murdered but I don’t believe he done it either

I have just watched this and thought exact same. Eric sounds like Jerry King if you take away the J, she was struggling with the initial letters of words, specifically T and Ch so being unable to say J seems possible. I searched online to see if anyone had similar thoughts

I'd have thought she tried to say Trellis did this. Her boyfriend who was in jail at the time was shot dead last year apparently. Feel so sorry for her

I thought the same. I think she was saying Jerry but it was coming out Eri and the responders have mistaken Eri for Eric! He also went missing during the second trial. I definitely think this needs to be explored. #JusticeforJessicaChambers RIP

I was really shocked that they showed the 3 graphic pictures of Diane's dead body, a bit unneccesary!

I watched That one last night.
But it just felt like a desperate family denying the obvious and lying to make her into a saint more than anything?
I really don't know why it was made or shown? Or am I missing something?

Another one I watched on Sky Crime was ‘there’s something wrong with Auntie Diane’ - absolutely heartbreaking. Anyone else watched it?

You’re absolutely right though, Jerry King could easily come out sounding like Eric, especially if you were struggling to talk!

@SweetMarmalade in the second trial some of the emergency responders admit that she was just making gargled noises rather than saying the clear words ‘Eric did this’

I watched it on Sky Crime. Awful case.

I never thought about Eric being Jerry King. They seemed very sure she said Eric. Did I miss where she couldn’t pronounce her own name? (Strong possibility I did)!

I watched it! It was fascinating.
I hadn't occurred to me about the Jerry King that is a very good point!.
I agree it was heartbreaking watching the fireman recount and many of them have left since because of it.

Okay I’m up to ep 5 now! I font know how I feel about it all, Jerry is dodge but I’m feeling it’s probably some kind of gang/drug thing tbh. She’s deffo not the angel her parents seem to think she was!

I watched it and it was just awful and heartbreaking. Poor poor young woman!! I absolutely agree with you about Jerry / Eric. Especially with his previous record. I think the main suspect though also is a deceitful git lying so much.

I hope she finally gets justice. Listening to those poor firefighters having to relieve it was so upsetting

No I have never heard of it, OR the case. It sounds horrific though, and I am not sure if I wanna watch it!

it's more of an AIBU than half the threads on here, Lockheart!

It's not a 'tell programme' it's a murdered woman that they documented.
