I really am glad I'm not a woman in the media. Can't believe that people can be so personal over a chosen name or hairstyle! I felt bad for her when was on 8 Out of 10 Cats and people were tweeting her for having shit hair… Do people tweet Sean Lock et al. about their hair? It's shallow and reductive to distil a woman's appeal down to her appearance.

I also like Cherry Healy, Claudia Winkleman and Dawn O'Porter. And even if I didn't, I still couldn't bring myself to be irritated by a fringe.

I really like her. I like Cherry too. Maybe because I am in a similar age group to them...I don't know, but I do like them both. I enjoyed Dawn's 'Dawn goes...' series. Yes ok, not very highbrow telly but I like that. I want Cherry's wardrobe and diet willpower.

Does anyone think that CH has lost a bit of weight for series 7? Her bottom looks less luscious possibly. Her hair is naturally red though?

I changed my name when I got married I wanted to take my husbands name . However , if I didn't I would have kept my own name not slapped the prefix of his onto my own . Your either in or your out Wink

Cherry Healy arrived on the tv scene via a documentary in which she was filmed giving birth. A one woman precursor to One Born.

I thought the breastfeeding doc she did was actually quite good, to be fair.

I actually don't give a shit what she looks like - but dear God, she is irritating. What's with the whole 'ditsy old me' act that some female presenters go for?? We're trying to move away from the idea that women don't actually need a brain to get ahead, just a big pair of tits and a nice face - she really isn't helping the cause.

Get her and her equally irritating O' off our screens, is what I say.

I know this is po faced of me to say: I find this really sad-she's just a tv presenter amongst many. There are really vile obnoxious people on tv -the complaints about this women seem to be she has made up a surname and has a particular hairstyle?

There's a woman called Stacey Dooley who makes 'investigative' docs for BBC3. Oh my word, she makes Cherry Healey and Dawn Porter look like hard-hitting journos.

Cherry Healey is like Dawn Porter but posher, less achingly quirky, but makes similarly pointless lifestyle docu-lites.

Hers tend to be more child focused as ... wait for it .. she has had a baby. The first person ever to manage that.
