I slept through last night so - apart from some thuds early on - I have no idea what he was up to.

Looking forward to hearing more about Newboy's antics Smile

I've just enquired about a new kitten Blush Goodness knows what LIvCat will say if I am successful.

I've just put a brined chicken in to roast. Will report back to Newboy when self and pet have dined. Yellow stickedred, natch, so all the more toothsome I hope.

So glad he finally leapt onto the bed! He's coming along in leaps and bounds - literally! Maybe we'll get another photo soon .... [waits hopefully] =..=

The thought of roasting a whole bird fills me with trepidation. Gawd knows what he would make of the smells. Grin

Imagine if that became midnight chicken expectations!

Lanaorana2 · 30/08/2017 21:59

Just like Edward VII - he had a whole roast chicken as a midnight snack. Whatever you do C be careful of N's winning ways- the silver platter would be a mere afterthought. As would the pageboy uniform, at this rate.

Mr C asked for seconds of the brined beauty before I had even had firsts. Juicy!

(Although he's in a fairly good mood having discovered the radiators in his room.)

I'm just TESTING THE SYSTEM. Blush

Would it be rude to point out that the OP's posts are highlighted and it would have been easier to follow if cozie had started the sequel?

I've so,enjoyed following the original thread. Sorry, no offence meant by this.

None taken. I was having a fit of recalcitrance so Lana/MrC stepped in.

Cozietowers is roomy. That's all. Old and roomy.

Lanaorana2 · 30/08/2017 23:23

Sorry all, I jumped the gun.

Mr C and Newboy live a long way apart, which is why they are both still alive, I suspect.

''Testing the system' - of course.

Well. If I was being really OTT, I would have bought him a special heating pad Blush so the system would only be being tested until that arrived. Grin

Sorry it was the midnight platters of roast chicken that confused me.
I too think this is a lovely thread.

Could we have a picture of mr c whilst we wait for a picture of newboy perhaps?

"special heating pad" Grin

My cats are extremely deprived, I reckon! (Mind you, they have a choice of beds with humans and laps galore, so I don't feel too sorry for them.)

EachandEveryone · 31/08/2017 10:38

How come you all use those radiator beds mine are terrified of them! Another waste of money. They do feel wobbly though.

Toddlerteaplease · 31/08/2017 15:38

I tried one and it stuck out far to much. Also I don't think my pair of fluff brains would have known what it was for, or Ben able to jump up that high.

Place marking for news and picture. Shamelessly waiting for pics!

Ah, new thread, ta Mr. C. He always gets his own way. And what a good time for a new one to begin! Newboy seems to have tested all your boundaries cozie, and decided that he trusts you. You're right, he's a clever one.

BlushBlush I bought a special heating pad. It was lovely, only heated up properly when sat on, lots of padding. It broke. I was upset. In my defence I was very upset when my old cat died in the summer and it caused immense spoiling of the 2 rescues I got in autumn, which also coincided with 6 weeks off work after an operation, leaving me ample time to throughly research the spoiling. I would be interested in any other interesting heat pads available though.
