I'm going to wait until I can do it all in one go. My inattentive brain can no longer wait weeks in between

I was on the edge of my seat. Didn’t realise with the adverts over the last few weeks it was a true story. Very gripping

I liked it but I was somewhat confused.
Why did they have such a big search so soon?

I didn't know the circumstances behind this drama until after I watched the first episode but, I got the impression @PancakeAndKeith, that Martin Freeman' character thought that it may be a case of abduction and that she may still be alive, as she was reported missing by her partner fairly swiftly.

He used that argument to persuade his boss that they should use the helicopter to search for her and in the drama, it said the club DJ had appealed via social media, for volunteers to help search.

Martin Freeman said they may as well use them given that they had turned up.

I thought the boyfriend was played brilliantly. My heart just broke when he said "I hope she is cheating on me right now." He was clearly terrified for her.

And when he said something like, he's my phone, search it, search the house, I know how these things work. Etc.it was just so moving. I was clearly not involved on her disappearance.

The mum felt manipulates at the tv press conference but I think maybe the police know how to get the best results. They said for her to sit next to the boyfriend. I cannot imagine how awful that while thing must be but any chance to get a vital clue that could have saved her.

I've read the whole story (Radio Times) no spoilers here please but I do think this programme will be significant. So I'm going to keep watching.

I thought the first episode was good, very moving and the whole series is likely to be upsetting.

The only thing I didn't like were the accents - they sound a bit Somerset/Devon rather than Wiltshire but I'm ignoring them.

Yes the accents sound way over the top, I hope I dont sound like some of them.
Was very sad what happened but they have done well to stick to mostly facts which is good.

The boyfriend is Kurtan from This Country, that is his normal accent.

His first role in a Drama, thought he was brilliant.

No dramas ever get the accents right for either West Country or East Anglia.

I felt it was odd that they talked about searching the car of the disgraced police man simply on the grounds of him having an estate car.

I know, he is almost a local so his accent is not an issue - it's the others. I guess when you live somewhere and that town is in a tv drama you notice it more, I don't think I sound like that.

I thought the same about seeing him in a serious role, he was very good and will hopefully do a lot more now.

The policemans car being an estate did seem a bit of a leap to lets check him out but maybe they do think like that.

I know about Charlie cooper (this country) being near there and yes he played the part very well.
I was born in Swindon and have lived there all my 40 years and sian's mum (who plays her) accent is awful.
But looking past that it's quite good and quite true to events atm.

The accents weren't right at all (I can lapse back into my childhood Wiltshire accent at the drop of a hat 😂)and really off putting but everything else was very good. I don't know the story at all so I won't read up on it yet. I hate waiting a whole week for a new episode !

Then don't attempt to do accents ,it's distracting from what happened.

So you would watch something set in Birmingham with everyone speaking with Irish accents or if a Welsh drama was full of Glaswegians?
