Especially with how they ended the last one. I know season 1 ended on a massive cliffhanger but I was late to the game and was able to get right into the next ones.

theknackofflying I especially loved when she's telling Rob she'll kill him if he ever hits Sharon and it seems like she's being amazing but then gets an insult in straight away with 'you drinking and her being so annoying, of course you'll hit her'.

Obviously out of context this seems awful to be laughing at now I've typed it but hopefully someone remembers and gets it🤣

Yep, me, the ending of the last one properly made me gasp out loud. Love the writing, love Bonner's character and I'm especially looking forward to Sharon's new wardrobe, bloody love her clothes in it, she dresses how I will when I grow up.

I'm not sure about this anymore. I loved series 1 & 2 but 3 really tailed off. It's not relatable anymore.

Agreed @MrsJamin. The story-line is a bit forced and Sharon no longer seems like Sharon. The outrageous hilarity of the previous series just isn't there anymore.

Despite watching S1-3 when they were first broadcast, I also binged on them via Amazon Prime a few months back. It's an interesting show, but heck, I just wish that it was funnier. 'Pulling' was sublime and 'Motherland', excellent - perhaps it's Rob Delaney I don't like?

It was so familiar and 'real' what happened in series 1 & 2, I just don't recognise the couple in anyone now. I was ok with the other characters around them having odd lives but not them themselves - I mean, shoplifting and drink driving is not normal or funny.

Good point @MrsJamin. Sharon and Rob were sometimes extreme in their behaviour, sometimes obnoxious (especially her) but basically, they were normal people in a weird situation. Now that that weird situation - two strangers from different continents getting married when they hardly know each other - is past, the series is struggling to find its purpose.

I think Sharon is coming over as a bit of a nasty bitch now. It's a shame because as a pp said Pulling was very funny, and SH also made a series called Dead Boss which was hilarious.

Sharon is gorgeous. But agree with ChristineBaskets that she's becoming a bit of a bitch. Well, I guess she was always prone to bitchiness, but it was balanced by humour and could be excused by the stresses of pregnancy and new motherhood. But now she's just unpleasant. And that shoplifting thing? Where did that come from?

The shoplifting thing was surely because she was acting all superior to him over his drink driving and then she did that, so they were even? Was anyone else expecting her to offer the security guy sexual favours?!
