if it suits you and your family then why change it?

Yes ds2 (2 and 1 month) still naps for at least two hours each afternoon. And he still goes to bed about 7/7.30.

If he doesn't have a nap he gets cranky too. Stick with it, if it suits you all! Some people just need more sleep than others.

My DS2 napped until 3 1/2 for 2 hours every afternoon. It didn't affect his nighttime sleep at all and he slept 8pm-8am every night. DS1 gave naps up at 2 1/2. All children are different. If he needs sleep in the daytime, let him. Gives you a break also!
