Ads hiding posts

I just got a notification email saying I had been mentioned in a post but I couldn't see it at first. It appears to only show depending on whether or not you've clicked show older posts. Examples attached!

@soniamumsnet I don't know if you can see my posting history but it was happening in the Casualty thread last night as well. I actually posted saying I was posting to see if it made me able to see someone's post

The post from earlier is just hidden behind a grey bar now

That's not much use to you is it? We're struggling to replicate the problem but would you mind trying a different browser to see if that helps. So using Chrome if you don't already or perhaps Firefox?

@FlissMumsnet I can see that post if I use safari on my iPhone and iPad but not on the app

I’ve just had something a bit similar in www.mumsnet.com/Talk/am_i_being_unreasonable/4329732-To-sneak-a-child-into-hotel-room. It was an auto playing video (AdChoices I think from the blue triangle) & the screen now looks like my second screenshot. I’m using safari on an iPhone 7.

Same thing here. Using a OnePlus 5, Android, Chrome browser. Happening intermittently

I keep getting an ad for Grey Goose vodka autoplaying over posts. iPhone using safari.

It stopped for a while but it’s back - I’ve had it twice in the past 15 mins.

And twice again in the past 10 mins - always seems to be appearing in Active / Threads I’m On now. I’m getting to quite dislike this bloke.

This is still happening. I only know because two posters tagged me earlier and I wanted to name check them both in my reply. I could only bring this post up by clicking on the link in the email saying I'd been mentioned. So it could be happening to more people but you wouldn't necessarily know there is a post missing!

This is always happening to me on the app too. Posters refer to previous posts and the posts are not there!!!!!
I check on the desktop version and the post is there.

I am glad it's not just me @QuestionEverythingBaby, as I've said it could be happening to multiple users but unless you knew a particular post was there when scrolling down you'd easily miss stuff!

I just started another thread about this, failing to find this one. I’m getting seriously fed up of this with the Minions ad. Cannot stand the little feckers at any g the IME, let alone every thread I open. Safari on iPhone.
