Still feeling good on my end - have had a couple of waves of very mild nausea but only for a few minutes. Napping lots! Only 6 days until my early scan and booking appointment!

I’m doing my dates using the nhs calculator which also takes into account your cycle length - if I just use my LMP my date would be 30 December but as I have short cycles the nhs calculator says it’s 28 December.

I’m still here reading, not contributed as been feeling so poorly 😩 managed to clean up a bit this morning so feel a bit better. Had 2 days where I wasn’t sick but back to being sick lots now! Hoping for a subway lunch 😂 hope everyone is well!

Afternoon everyone. Feeling rather delicate today, been sick a few times this morning. Had a long bath and read a few chapters of my book which was nice.

@Rnic1x I take a carrier bag in the car if I go anywhere now 🤣

I miss enjoying food 😢😢 every time I feel like my belly is empty I spend forever thinking what can I eat 😐.

@katbaby I will take one 🙈 I've gone off so much I can't have hot drinks now they make me Bork, I made mars bar slice yesterday which I ate and loved but today I can't stand to look at it 🙈 I think I'll have toast for tea at least it's something, bet you can't wait for your scan x

Hi! I'm due 19th December and I'm 9 weeks today! Had booking appointment so just waiting for first scan letter to arrive! Feeling totally sick every day, one day I can eat something and the next I can't 😂and some days i can't stomach anything. Can't wait to smell some yummy food and want to eat it all! I miss it. Hopefully the sickness will be over soon!

Wow! 3 already!
Hope everyone is well and symptoms aren’t too bad! I’ve felt awful for nearly a week and can honestly say today is the first day I feel relatively human, still picky with food and bordering on being dehydrated but better than other days

So we told our closest friends last night and they were fab! It’s was such a relief, they now realise why I haven’t been drinking and ‘been acting strange’ as they put it 🤣

Really loving all the scan pictures! Can’t wait to see how they develop over the coming months!

Gorgeous scan pic @McClue. I'm 8 weeks today so lovely to think my LO looks like that too.

Is anyone else having strange feelings in their uterus? I'm finding it really hard to describe to DH. It's sort of a dragging feeling. This last week I've definitely felt 'things' happening in there. This is my 2nd pregnancy (at this stage) and I'm much more in tune with every feeling going on than last time.

Didn't realise there was a new chat!

Had every intention of posting and keeping up to date with this chat regularly but felt shocking these last few days. Only been up since 10am and been sick 6 times already which is a new record for me. Not sure what's normal and not when it comes to morning sickness really? Anyone else struggling with it I'm 8w+3 and read it peaks at 9 weeks.

I feel bad for complaining about it as I know it's meant to be a good sign and would probably worry if it just stopped. Just been feeling really upset about it today. Probably just a feeling sorry for myself kinda day...

@Aimz15 Im with you on the struggling with sickness and feeling fed up! Hard when it's the same day after day. I feel the same like I should just be grateful and happy that my body is doing what it needs to do but it is hard when you feel so rotten and drained!

@Rnic1x I'm the same in that Ill enjoy one thing one day then it will fully turn my stomach the next day!

Hi everybody.
New member here, first time mum 8 weeks pregnant with twins! Due over Xmas but I know twins usually come a bit early.
My symptoms have been awful! Sick 24/7, constant headaches and too tired to move most of the time! Hoping the symptoms will ease a bit before I’m due to be back at work which I’m expecting to be early next month.
Got my booking appointment next week over the phone.
My sister keeps telling me I should have had blood tests by now but I’ve not been offered any, I assumed due to the current situation. Should I have had any by now? I’m worrying about it a bit!

@emmavictoria89 congratulations! I just wanted to say don't worry about the blood tests, I had my booking a couple weeks ago by phone and they told me it's all done at the scan to minimise the number of times they get you in 😊

Hi everyone,

8 weeks 3 days today! Waiting on my book appointment next week. Cannot wait for a scan.

Today is the first day I've not felt overwhelmingly nauseous (since finding out at 3+4) I've also had sore boobs and headaches on and off. Exciting times.

Due to my calculations based on period tracking for the last few years I'm due 24th December.

Hi everyone. Have been lurking quietly as haven't had my early scan yet but lovely to see all your updates. This is my fourth pregnancy (hopefully 3rd baby as I had a MMC back in 2017) and I've never had sickness as bad as this - am a bit worried it may be twins! Unless it's a boy? Possible as I have two DDs already.
I'm 7+3 today - anyone else due around NYE?

Hi @cgirl16 sorry to hear of your loss, congratulations on your pregnancy, I haven't had a scan yet either and I am also 7w3d but I'm due on the 31st I think 🤔 I have 3children DD and 2 DS I was more sick with my DD so it could have the opposite effect and is a DS for you! X
