Hi. I’ve just got what I think is a BFP but line very faint and am only 9 DPO and wasn’t with FMU so going to re-test in the morning. But if it is a line then I’m due 7 Nov.

When are you due?

@burntpinky congrats! I just got a BFP on Monday! I'm due Nov 2nd. Had you been trying for a long time? Is it your first?

@Elley2912 - huge congrats!

Nope, second. This was cycle 5 of trying and I’m 41 so wasn’t expecting it to happen!

Is this your first? How long you been trying?

@Elley2912 so exciting! We weren't expecting it to happen either. This is our first cycle trying and first baby!

I tested positive on Sunday, due date November 1st, still doesn’t feel very real and is so strange not telling family and friends! I feel like it’s going to be a long wait until the first scan!

Hi, I'm due Nov, if all goes to plan. Panicking already as this is after a miscarriage in January:(

Elley2912 · 26/02/2020 19:59

@notinthestarsigns I told my best friend already. It's so difficult to keep it a secret.

@Whoamieven I'm sorry about your miscarriage. It's difficult to really get excited because anything could happen over the next few weeks and months!

Hello everyone!

Got my BFP last night after 1.5 years of trying (but only really actively for 6/7 months of that). I am still giddy and slightly bewildered. All being well my due date is Nov 3rd!

How are you symptoms? I am DEAD tired, headache (probs from caffeine withdrawal though...), cramps and back aches and suddenly I can smell everything...only the occasional waft of nausea so far.

@Whoamieven I'm so sorry for your loss. I am already full on anxious about that possibility. I typed in 'first trimester anxiety' into google today and read everything!

@CrabApple00 Congratulations! That must be so surreal after so long trying

@CrabApple00 I've had similar symptoms. Cramps, backache and tiredness! I took a 3hr nap today and I never nap!

Hi! Got my BFP today after a year and a half of trying! 4 positives on 4 brands so hopefully that's a good sign! 😁
Been having a bit of cramping today though so that makes me nervous!

Hi everyone, new to Mumsnet.
Think I got my BFP tonight, faint line on a FRER test however from researching seems not only one to have gotten a faint line on this test.
Got a CB Digital and another FRER to do tomorrow morning as know this is when best to test. So all being well calculated my due date to be 4th November! Also got cramps, backache and tiredness.

@Busybee143 I had a miscarriage back last year too. Im so anxious it's going to happen again. Iv already seen the GP and been referred to the midwife but just not sure when they get in contact . Also is anyone planning on having a private early scan?

Report
SJ1989 · 27/02/2020 08:42

@Wmma first appointment is normally around 8 weeks which is the booking in appointment

Report
CrabApple00 · 27/02/2020 09:52

@Louise24902 @Busybee143 from what I have read/frantically googled some early weeks cramping is really normal due to uterus stretching/gas/digestion issues...I still worry all the time though too!

To make this all more surreal I moved to Prague last year so I'm now in a country where I don't speak the language and don't understand the medical system! Trying to take it one step at a time...first a blood test tomorrow to absolutely confirm then I visit to an Ob-Gyn.

All very weird but I feel this would be an amazing city to raise a baby in!

Hi everyone so happy for you all. Currently at work but after getting another BFP from CB digital this morning feel so preoccupied with excitement but also nervous as this is first pregnancy.

Contacted GP today was given appointment to see midwife in about 6 weeks but also arranged to see GP for blood test!

It's all so exciting! I am having to read up about what I can and can't do at work now, as I work as a Veterinary surgeon, so ik constantly in contact with anaesthetic gas, drugs, poorly animals etc... Seems to be a lot of "wear gloves" Grin - perhaps I need a utility belt with a box of latex gloves hanging off it!!

Anyone else having painful sneezes? I feel like i pull something if i sneeze in a funny position! Just me being weird?
