Really happy to have this thread on here!

Starting to feel nauseous at the thought of vegetables and basically non-carbs which is new. Can't work out if I'm nauseous from over-eating or if it's pregnancy related.

Hi sophsta & amanda - great that you've joined!

I was exactly the same sophsta - I went off veg in the first trimester and ended up eating very beige foods, which basically meant a carb diet for 10weeks! Just starting to get my appetite back for veg etc! They advise to just eat what you can really, as long as you can keep things down etc!

I am soooo bloated btw!!! Like I could be 4/5 months preg the way I look right now 😂😂

Dolly when did u get early scan again? 7 weeks? Was it a TVS or abdominal???

Report
Roseandbee · 21/05/2017 22:23

Hi everyone:) I've not gone off anything I don't think and seem to be eating all day as it perks me up a bit, not sure it's nausea more dizziness and tiredness
Amanda I also look far gone, I hope it's the bloating and not the the eating Grin

Haha yeah, I was SO bloated for the first few weeks!! I felt like I was 6months gone! Still have days where I'm bloated but when it goes down, I've got the teensiest little bump going. I can't wait to see my little bump growing though!

I go my first scan at 7+2 I think! I thought I would need a TVS but my EPU have great scanners and saw everything they needed to see abdominal way. Which was ideal because I was bleeding at that point and felt slightly embarrassed! Which is madness considering I don't give it a second thought when I'm helping women who are bleeding! Have you decided if you're going for one or not yet?

Hi ladies 🖑 I'm here!! Thank you for setting up the thread @Dolly :)

I'm with you on all of the above ladies -

  1. serious aversion to fruit and veg in 1st tri. Only beige carbs were palatable (pasta with grated cheese and potato waffles were particularly popular!)
  2. Sickness has gone
  3. tiredness is still in full swing - I thought you were supposed to get more energy in 2nd trimester?!

I also swing from being constipated to the other extreme - No happy middle ground lol

I had my reassurance scan at 7 weeks.

Re the worrying i have definitely calmed down since 12 week scan and time is going much faster now! From 4-12 it felt like time was standing still!

When is everyone's edd's? I'm 10 November :)

Who else still to join us - @bella, @ohb, ... ?

@Amanda a cup of hot water is good to settle wind :)

That's so exciting dolly I'd love a real bump.
I had to have a TVS when I was full af flo:-/ (it was to check a pain I was having) it was meant to be abdominal but I couldn't hold the pint of water in 🙈

Yep I'm getting the wind pain, and it panics me and then I realise my bellys the size of a ballon and it's not a cramp at all lol #itwasntmeitwasthebaby
I'm trying to get to the 7 weeks mark for an early scan #slowmo

Also re bloating my oh has taken a side on belly pic every week and I'm definitely smaller now than I was a few weeks ago - def had my bloat on! 😂

Also re pg tests i was talking to my cousin and she said she took 2 with her first dc and 1 with her 2nd. I was like "What?! I've taken at least 20!" Turns out they didn't have ic's in her day lol! I actually thought I was exaggerating when I said 20 but then I counted...

I'm still like that amanda! Everything is just a bit "meh" I just eat for the sake of eating (and also because if I don't eat every 2 hrs i start to feel nauseous from the hunger!)

My 1st target was 7 weeks @Rose. Then 12 weeks ... now its 16 weeks (community mw app) ... then it will be 20 weeks. Baby steps! :)

haha @Moo31 that's brilliant. i felt like a loon doing 1 every day for the first 3 weeks. i'm down to about 2 a week now 🙈

i won't buy more when they run out i'm a liar

iv got a belly anyway ladies, so it'll take me a while to show i reckon but i'm actually looking forward to changing shape!

i have developed a food aversion,
i literally cannot think of anything i want to eat when asked. it's best DH just plonks something down in front of me rather than involve me. haha, changed days!

@bella I read that somewhere that you should get someone else to do all the cooking so good work!

Lol i think I'll frame them 😂 along with the cbs, frers and Superdrug tests - must be hitting 30! So it's definitely entirely normal 😉 I haven't done one since my 12 week scan because I ran out

Top one was my first BFP then second one was today. Can u see the control line is lighter so I kinda freaked but I (obviously) googled the fuck out of it and it is the one closet to the pee that detects the pregancy

fingers crossed i stop my POAS addiction at the 12 weeks stage too @Moo31 those ICs make it too easy tho don't they?

my booking appt isn't til 2nd june and ill be just shy of 11 weeks so i think my 12 week scan might be more like a 14 week scan. can't complain tho cos hopefully it'll be nice and clear #loveascanpic

no pic came through @AmandaP86x geez a swatch lol 😂

Yes they do @bella! I had my booking app and 12 week scan at the same time - I was 11+5 are you sure they won't do yours together?

Upload again @Amanda :)

Bottom left line definitely darker and thicker @Amanda! :) xo

Report
BellaMoon · 21/05/2017 23:16

ah @AmandaP86x don't be worrying about that. i think the instructions say either line can be fainter/bolder than the other. those are the strongest FRER result lines iv seen! ohhh i love a picture me! #bringonthepicturesladies

oh who remembers the sushi and champs posts i used to put up pre-BFP? ohhh i miss those days hahaha #sadbastard

@Moo31 my booking appt is at a local health centre so i assumed i'd need to go to the maternity for the scan. to be honest, iv no clue. 1 of my friends is 9 days ahead
of me and hers were separate. ill bide my time somehow. it does seem to drag in initially.

do you think it gets faster at some point ladies? x
