Anyone mind if i have a moan. Spent about four hours this evening having mild contractions, now lying in bed and nothing, not even a twinge. FFS we even tidied up in case MIL had to come round and look after DS Sad

I'm with you on this. I've been having the same for just over a week, uncomfortable, mild contractions, tons of BH, feeling sick, not sleeping etc. Just as I think 'ok here we go' it all stops and I feel fine with tons of energy. Driving me and DH mad!

I had about 3 hour of contractions, 1 hour of those they were every 1 min and thought baby would be born before the MWs got here. That was Monday and baby is still inside.....

I could have written the OP on Monday night! I was having tightenings every 4 minutes for an hour and a half. Went to bed and it all stopped. :(

Been having lots of BH, period pain and back ache since, but still not in labour.

it's the same for me, some contractions every 7 minutes on Tuesday early morning for a good few hours, took some paracetamol to try to get some sleep, it stopped the next morning. Last night there's contractions every 10 minutes, but disappeared during the day... I also had some brownish-jelly discharge (sorry if TMI), hope baby is on his way! I'm 39+6 today, and I'm getting bored waiting for baby to come! I just want to get it over and done with...

I started a thread about the same thing (45+5 thread). Had 3 nights of exhausting contractions and then they stop after several hours. So frustrating. I am now 8 days overdue

Sorry you're all going through the same, I'm 39+1 and just so bored and fed up, have spent the whole day sulking rather than getting my jobs done. Fingers crossed for all of us that it won't be too much longer.

Sorry when i said 45+5 - That was clearly a mistake (altho it feels like that!) I am 40+8 now but the thread was started when i was 40+5

Spuddy the baby would surely be out by 45+5 Wink

My contractions are back to be every 5-7 minutes. Hope baby will be out tomorrow!!!

Same here! Spent 6 hours yesterday with bad backache, period like pain and contractions, then they went away! Some more today and had an appt with the Ob/mw was monitored for 20 mins and she said my contractions weren't regular but probably the start. Came home and they stopped! I'm 39+2 and am not looking forward to this happening for another week.

Hope some of you have babies by now! I'm still waiting...

Spuddy I didn't notice probably because at the moment I wouldn't be surprised if my pregnancy lasted that long Hmm Grin

No babies here, it's all gone very quiet.
