The old thread was getting dangerously close to 1000 messages, so thought I'd better start this one.

Brilliant thanks beasty.
I suggest perhaps then that we join A and T together in some kind of boob bandit programme - she flashed mine repeatedly to a school dad today at a party for dd2s school pal. Poor man didn't know where to look. T is still obsessed with bfing, our daily struggles are about 3/4 in my favour but still she battles on.

Beasty thanks for the new thread! I think taking him out and strapping him in the car was the right thing to do.
It's hard because you don't always know if they are learning or if they are going to carry on being an enraged toddler testing you. I am hoping that soon things will calm down.

WL T is still fighting for boob?! I'm really curious as to why, what is it that you think she needs? Or is it just a boob obsession? When I gave up feeding mine they didn't really notice Confused I think a top diving toddler would make me snap very quickly Hmm

It is DD's birthday tomorrow, I can't believe it is here already! We're going to celebrate and give gifts at the weekend because that is when family is coming and we hope that will make it easier for DS. I have a present for him too. I couldn't resist! And we used to get "unbirthday" presents when we were kids and I hope it will keep him entertained.

Oh, and he bit DD this morning Sad I wish there was a quick way to stop him from doing that ever again.

Wow that year has gone so quick Nutella.

WL, i think the same as Beasty and Spotty will you be happy or disappointed to be offered the job. Depending on your reaction would be the decision i made.

Beasty, i know i shouldn't laugh but A sounds like a lovely little character. And thanks for the new thread.

Spotty, H has had loads of accidents the last few days whilst she has been unwell. She even poo'd on the floor last night luckily i was in work so my dad cleaned up that one. Touch wood she seems better today but you have my sympathy its a yacky job cleaning wee up.

T is also being particularly tricky about dinner at the moment. Most meals are greeted with 'yuk, I don't like it' before she's even tasted it. Eventually she mostly eats it though.

nutella she has never wanted to give up bfing but I have pushed her as It was interfering with her getting on with stuff. It's not the milk as that's all gone so I guess just comfort and closeness. If she gets in a real state about anything, a few minutes boob always sorts her out which is lovely but she was def taking the mic!

My interview is now thurs at 5pm. I think it could be great but it's scary - especially as I actually really like my current job and the set up works well. Financially it would Be helpful

Yeah but if you turned the job done would you always be saying 'what if?' Life's too short to not just go for it. What's the worst that could happen? You don't like it and have to continue searching for something else?

I totally agree with Spotty. If it's something that you will regret not taking then in the long run (if it is offered to you) you might regret it.

DD was very brave having her immunisations this morning (poor love, not a great present!) and she will get her presents on Saturday. She did a very cute dance this morning when we sang happy birthday Grin

Checking in. Thanks for the thread Beasty.

I've got one tired boy after a day out with a friend's 2 slightly older boys. He walked miles through the woods and went on a terrifyingly tall bouncy castle slide that gave me palpitations.

Hes having one of those days where they just don't eat! One crumpet and half a ham sandwich all day. Must be the heat.

Oh no Spotty.

I got called from work to holiday club to collect DD who has tonsillitis (she's been fine at home). I didn't fancy going back tonight in the rain so I brought A home too.

The highlight was half a bottle of "black squash" being poured over the kitchen side when A decided to help himself.

Oh no hope dd feels better soon.

Got dd's school shoes today, only £42 luckily. She's got some new insoles which means she can finally wear 'normal' school shoes.

Barbeasty · 13/08/2015 19:20

Oh no Spotty, but yay for the shoes. We have shoes and haircuts tomorrow.

The good news is that the Dr said they would discuss referral next time. This is the 7th bout of tonsillitis since November.
