Yes, I think the green poo is teething not intolerance. My diet hasnt changed and she's happy in herself. HV said no need for concern; poo is a rapidly changing thing.

Phew, found you. My fault for being so absent of late.

So has anyone actually got teeth yet or just lots of drooling and hand-chewing? And why is nothing apparently so satisfying to chew as human flesh. No teething toy comes close.

Sorry for those struggling with nights still. I was going to moan as ds started waking up once a night now instead of sleeping through but in comparison I guess that makes me lucky. Hope those wakey babies start behaving themselves soon.

Not much else happening here, no rolling yet. Does anyone know what age they can sit in a bumbo? We had one for ds but gave it away as his chubby thighs never fit in it. Am now wondring if it's worth trying to find a 2nd hand one for dd.

We're almost back to sleeping all night she feeds about 10pm then goes until around 6am which is good as that's when we get up for nursery its been about

Oh and mucho bumbo sitting going on here already, M is quite the fan. As is ds1 who I keep having to remove from the damn thing, he doesn't believe me when I tell him that he used to scream when I put him in it as a baby, contrary bugger

was about to say that it has been about 2 weeks of night waking but definitely glad that it may be over I need my sleep!

We don't have any rolling here I don't think she will now tho I think she'll probably learn to sit up then fall into a roll been in the bumbo for about 7/8 weeks now and she loves it something about being upright I guess she can see so much more!

No teeth either... Lots of hand chewing and gumming but she's always done that so not sure what the difference is but we've put mits on (not that that is stopping the sucking) but it is stopping the bleeding head from all the scratching she does!

We're going out buying weaning gear weekend after this one ready to start at 5 months were off to Blackpool this weekend visiting the illuminations which will be nice and the hotel have a pool we can take her in then back home Sunday and over to Swindon for an underwater photo shoot! So excited! Just bought her a new costume

Anyone just planning purée or are you all doing a mix of that and blw?

Thought baby was being brilliant last night as I didnt hear her til 3. Turns out DH had already been up at midnight with her. Oops. Still a step in the right direction. Great to share the pain with DH again now he is off nightshifts.

Wanted to tell you all how wonderful Philips Avent is. The plug to my electric breast pump broke (earth pin snapped clean off) soI phoned them to see if I could buy a new one. Because its still in warranty they will send me a new plug for free. Except they dont have any plugs in stock. So would I accept a whole new pump for free? Oh and no need to take the old one to a shop or show the receipt to anyone. Theyll just pop a new pump in the post for me. How lovely are Philips??? Got to love their Dutch efficiency.

When you've all finished with the sleep fairy can you pleases end them this way. Dd however is now sound asleep sprawled out on the bed. I am now wide awake. nothing to do with DP letting the puppy upstairs and her weeing on the duvet, not at all guess the day can only get better!

Horrible weather here again, windy, rainy and so not friendly to go outside. Days like this I curse the washing machine being in the garage and having to go through the garden to get to it. Any dry washing gets soaked bring in, and I end up looking like a drowned rat going backwards and forwards. Makes me want to move purely for an indoors washing machine.

Just a little warning about the bumbo, dd1 loved it and used it for months but this little toad has learnt how to use her feet to push up and out of it, it was very scary the first time she did it so just be aware!!

Bumbo popular here,parky for eating in though thighs are now so chunky that it has to be hauled off when we are done. Reckon it's high chair time here. Likely go the Baby Bjorn one as need something that will fold up.

Only 3 wake-ups last night so hopeful The Month-Long Sleep Hell might be on its way out. Bastarding thing.

Purées here only but that's on medical advice from J's surgeons and since the first week the purées are not all mega-smooth, quite often textured. Seeing Surgeon again this week and reckon likely advice will be to kick off with proper weaning rather than the fun taste-testing we've had to date.

Lots if friends having sprogs now till year's end ... the new babies are v cute but I don't get jealous one iota. J is much more fun/interesting/adaptable nowadays. Weird, innit. Although I was ENDLESSLY asked when in Iz about having a second kid. Crazy. J is only 20 weeks, notwithstanding the fact I'm about 100yrs old.

WooHoo only woke at 12, 4, 6.30 and properly awake at 7.30 which is really good for us. we might brave ikea today I want to use the sling but OH wants to take the pram so if his mum comes she can push him

Oli- isn't it funny how people ask about the next baby so soon. We were asked at the weekend when we were having another! DS is 18wks and whilst there's part of me that would quite like another in the future, its miles from my mind. Can you imagine the pregnancy tiredness along with the small baby tiredness?!

Those of you with two DCs, what's the age gap? The mere thought of another is horrendous right now. People have said give it a year and we will want another. So cannot see it! Three years maybe! The calculator alone tells me it wouldn't be sensible for quite a while.

I was asked two weeks after having dd when the next one will be! And my midwife on the last visit she did said she'd see me in her clinic next year! Was doing ok and then DP pipped up the other day about it, I managed to settle it all by saying we'd look at how it's all going after dd turns 1. Figured that buys me a while.

DS2 is too big for the bumbo seat. He's so big & tall it doesn't support him so he just kind of slumps over. Maybe it'll come into its own once his back is a bit stronger. DS1 on the other hand loves sitting in it, and he's also taken to sitting in the jumperoo Oh AND the baby swing..

There are 25 months between my two. So we got pregnant with DS2 when DS1 was about 16 months which was the soonest I felt ready. Especially the whole first year it was just NO WAY to another. Also I didn't get my period back until I stopped breastfeeding DS1 at 14mo.

I think in the long run this will be a really nice age difference. Right now it's bloody hard work, but I imagine nowhere near as hard as having a baby and a 1yo (some people get pregnant during the 'super fertile' phase about 2 or 3 months after the birth). DS1 is really sweet with DS2 now. The other day he wanted to hold him, so he sat on the couch with him on his lap (DS2 is a big baby so he pretty much swamps DS1 hah!) and they were watching TV. SOOOO CUTE!!

DH wants a 3rd at some point. I'm totally ready to say no, no and no, but we're "postponing the conversation for now"....

We want another sooner rather than later. Yes, we are insane! Though I'm not that young, so need to take that into consideration.

We shall see what happens, but if there's only a year or so between them we will just have to cope. Somehow. :-)

DD is 6.6, DS1 is 3.9, and DS2 is 5 months

Plan was we'd have three, all about 3 years apart. DS1 had other ideas and showed up 2 months early, so the gaps are actually 2y9m and 3y3m. Best laid plans and all that

Ive gone and got the implant which lasts 3 years. If we want try for a second earlier I could get it taken out. Basically we've both agreed to wait til Lil is at least 2. We just couldnt afford childcare for 2 tots at nursery so probably we'll wait til the free nursery place kicks in.

Right now the thought of being pregnant makes me want to cry with tiredness.

I'll second the free childcare managing a nursery is fab I get to do what I love have her with me and all for free! In fact I get paid woohoo!
