So here it is merry Christmas our last week! Xmas Grin

Here's the spreadsheet of fabulousness with extra glitter this week

I know it's a tough time of the year, with all kinds of temptations, but try and hold on for one more week!

Morning all

My woosh stayed off - mostly - 2.5lbs off this week, taking me to a total of 15.5 off for this bootcamp so far. Extraordinary when I look back on my stats - that's 7% off!

So very nearly into the 100's rather than the 200's on the poundage front, only 1.5 to go before I break that barrier. Something to aim for as a little Christmas present to myself Xmas Grin

I'll definitely be back on board with the next bootcamp @BIWI, any plans afoot for the first one in 2019?! I've so enjoyed this one, thank you, and you've kept me on track, perhaps another 10 weeks and I won't be tucking my stomach back into my jeans before I do them up...!

That's a great result!

Yes there will be another one in January - not sure exactly when, but probably starting mid-month, to give everyone time to recover from Christmas, and make sure all the tempting goodies are out of the way!

Woo-hoo! The last week and we're still going. Honestly, if you'd have asked me two months ago if I would still be going strong by now, I'd have said probably not. I've started and stopped so many diets, it feels so good to be sticking at it and seeing great results for the first time in years.

Well done on your loss @Collectorofcookbooks!

I'm actually looking forward to the January bootcamp @BIWI. Will there be a way of recording the weight I've lost up until then on the new spreadsheet, or will I have to start again at zero?

That is great news BIWI. You are really helping us!

I'm another pound down and actually saw the 180s on the scale before they settled on 190 today.

Yet another pound before Christmas would be a lovely gift to myself... but Christmas visiting starts here next weekend, so I'm not depending on anything.

Well done everyone, some great losses :). I’ve been a bit absent this bootcamp, couple of medical procedures, bit of a family crisis, feeling a bit low for various reasons, have all contributed to me hanging out on S&B rather than here. Blush. However, I have religiously KOKO and can announce that my end weight is 10.13. Exactly the same as my start weight. However, in the last 18 months, nearly 6 stone off, dress size from a 24 to a 12 and running 5k three times a week. So I’m happy, but I WILL get rid of that last half stone yet!

Well done wild toots and collector for the losses and for making it to the last week! I find once I've been doing low carb for a bit I get in the zone and actually find it pretty easy to stick with! Maintenance is much harder!

My woosh stuck and I am 4lbs down this week and just 1lb off my target! Hopefully I'll make it before Christmas!

Good luck for the last week everyone!

What is S&B @ilovecherries? Sorry about the medical stuff - but glad to see that you are still KOKO. Half a stone on next bootcamp? Trophy ahead.

Well done @tootstastic and @Collectorofcookbooks

All the best for Christmas.

I don’t remember who else was in the lose 4lb by Christmas ,I’ve done that and hope to lose another lb by next week

Might weigh in a day early , as it’s my DH birthday on Sunday , son coming home for Christmas on Saturday , so the festivities start early in the Tourist household 🎄pass me that mince pie 🥧

I'v lost over a stone this bootcamp, wich I'm chuffed with. Will be trying to koko over christmas and then take part in the bootcamp in January.

Well done veryone on your losses Flowers.

Cherries it took me five months to get the first two stone off and then another year to get the last 6 lb off. Then I got pregnant, put most of it back on, and had to start again! It was much easier the second time though because I was already following low carb so I was already eating healthily and I actually got to a lower weight after my second lot of weight loss not suggesting pregnancy as a weight loss method obviously!

Lol, if I got pregnant, it would make the news!

Reading through it's fascinating to see how bodies deal with weight loss in such different ways. I'm in awe of some of the losses and I will koko but I am finding it really hard. Not the crappy Christmas temptations, that's ok I really don't want sugar and seem to have broken that habit.

I've had such a huge change in my work routine, the waking nights have become full of coffee and then I'm sleeping in the day when I should be drinking water. I'm snacking, not eating enough veg, eating too much quick processed meat and the scales are beginning to reflect it. The cold from hell has arrived and I need a good moan and then the big stick.

I've been taking olives, different cheese, mixed with bits of dressed salad to pick at but it's a bit soul destroying at 3 in the morning when the work fridge is filled with carby shit. And everything is low fat, I'm smuggling in my pot of double cream!

I've been really busy (I'd been in denial about Christmas being imminent Xmas Confused and have finally started trying to get organised Xmas Blush), hence not checking in.

I was another one of the 4lb club but I think I'm going to fail that objective. I seem to be hovering around 11st 3lb and wanted to get up 10st 13lb.

But I'm not going to be demotivated - that still means that I'm 10lb lighter than I was last Christmas Xmas Smile - and I know through taking measurements that even when I've gone through stall periods, I'm still losing inches Xmas Grin

I'm thinking about what the weight lost so far would look like on its own.
Apparently I've lost:
a 2.5 year old child
or more than half my labrador
or a whole wallaby
or 20 dozen eggs
or 3.5 imperial gallons of water

No wonder it is easier to get up hills!

Just checking in as the ghost of boot camp past to say well done everyone and I'll be joining you on the Jan bootcamp. I've been maintaining sloppily around 3lbs over target since the end of the last camp but am going wild with the festive food so think a a reset in January will be necessary. Back at work since the start of October after a year of maternity leave and struggling to avoid office sugary crap!

Hi all, busy last day at work, but it is over and I finally have time to come on and tell you that I have lost 1lb, which means I have met my bootcamp target! I've lost 12lbs this bootcamp, which I am really pleased about and 3 stone since I began my first bootcamp in June last year.

Also means I met my 4lb target for these last few weeks! I think i will probably take this as my final weigh in, as will be having a few drinks this weekend and that always affects my weight and I don't want to have to worry about it.

Well done everyone who has kept up the losses. I’ve been a solid maintainer the last couple of weeks due to a couple of planned off-piste days. Will also have a couple more on Christmas and Boxing Day - not going crazy but just having higher carb veg to normal.

On the plus side, I have discovered I have a problem with bread. When I’ve had a piece, my lips have started tingling! I would never have made the connection on my previous diet.

It’s been a real eye-opener for me to follow this WOE - it’s really solidified what food is best for me and what I need to avoid for health.

My new jeans are nearly falling down!! Best present ever 🎁.

I've not made much much of a contribution to these threads but I'm very grateful for the motivation and recipe ideas that have flowed.

I'm down to 10.9 just under a stone loss but will keep it up and lose another stone to be really happy!
Thank you and Merry Xmas! 🎄🎅

OhCobblers that's fantastic!

I just wanted to say thank you to eveyone who's been doing this bootcamp - you've all really helped me through it and though it's been quite a quiet thread, it' very reassuring to know that there are people out there who are in the same boat!! Flowers

I've managed to lose a couple of pounds since my Christmas party blip, so it's slowly going in the right direction. I'm going to have a couple of less strict days on Chistmas and Boxing days, then back on the wagon.

Really looking forward to the January bootcamp now! Xmas Smile

I was 11st 1.75lb this morning Xmas Shock

So I've achieved 1.25lb of the 4lb club Xmas Blush - but given the way I had been stalling at +/- 11st 3lb for the past few weeks, at least the scales are moving in the right direction again. Xmas Smile

You never know miracles might happen I might break through the 11st barrier into the 10st somethings by Monday Xmas Grin

Running around in a panic trying to catch up is helping Xmas Wink
