So here it is merry Christmas our last week! Xmas Grin

Here's the spreadsheet of fabulousness with extra glitter this week

I know it's a tough time of the year, with all kinds of temptations, but try and hold on for one more week!

My Bootcamp has finished as our celebrations start tomorrow with DH birthday ( also means we’re fed up with celebrating by the 28th , so not all bad )

Will final weigh in on Monday , but not holding my breath

Looking forward to the next Bootcamp , as I have a silver wedding anniversary Caribbean holiday to plan for 👍

Wildheartsease · 22/12/2018 23:03

My bootcamp has finished - but I'll KOKO as far as is possible. This is real life. Christmas is the exception

tootstastic · 24/12/2018 08:25

Merry Christmas Bootcampers! 🎅🏼🎄🥳

Huge congrats to all those losses this week.

And a massive thankyou to you all for keeping me on track, especially @BIWI, @prettybird and @AthelstaneTheUnready for running it, this thread has been my absolute saviour!

I've just entered my last loss on the spreadsheet, 2.3lbs off (31.6 off altogether). I've gone from 18st 10lbs to 16st 5.8lbs and I intend to carry on over Christmas. This is something I've never done before, I normally completely binge over Christmas and start again on 1st Jan, but I'm just feeling so determined to get this weight off I don't want to risk my resolve.

Hope to see you all on the next bootcamp, unless anyone else fancies sticking around on here for a bit of support over Christmas. I'll check back from time to time when the Quality Street start calling my name.

BIWI · 24/12/2018 08:59

That's brilliant, @tootstastic, and I really admire your resolve. If you can keep going, rather than just binge, you'll feel so much better on 1 Jan!

I'm not going to start another chat thread today, as I suspect most people have actually stopped by now anyway! But the spreadsheet is where it always is, living in the first post of this thread, if anyone is searching for it. Xmas Smile

The next Bootcamp will start on Monday 14 January

In the meantime, this thread will continue as a general place to chat.

I'm also going to start a general Bootcampers 'place to chat'. One of the things I'm always worried about is that newbies or lurkers are put off from posting because it seems like everyone on the threads knows each other. It's always inevitable that people get to know each other, especially when you're involved in something as intense as the Bootcamps can be, but I don't want people to be put off from joining in!

I'd also be very grateful for any suggestions (from all of you - and especially you lurking at the back Wink) about how to make the next Bootcamp better. What has worked for you? What hasn't been so good? What do you wish had happened? etc. Any suggestions gratefully received.

1.5lb off for me Xmas Smile - down to 11st 1.5lb. Miracles didn't happen in the last couple of days Xmas Wink Didn't quite make it through the 11st barrier but I'm still happy to be 12.5lb less than I was last Christmas Xmas Grin

BIWI · 24/12/2018 09:33

Brilliant, @prettybird!

Thanks @BIWI, let's hope my resolve lasts until you're all back on the 14th.

Well done @prettybird, you have done brilliantly.

I made a mistake on my earlier calculations, I've lost 32.2lbs not 31.6, so better than I thought Xmas Smile

ilovecherries · 24/12/2018 11:37

10.13 again. Grin

I’m going to just koko over Xmas, because for me it’s for forever. I’m upping my e revise now, as I refuse to calorie count, and ideally would still like to shift a few more pounds before my surgery.

Have a lovely Xmas, everyone!

Doilooklikeatourist · 24/12/2018 12:04

Did my last weigh in on Friday , still 10-10 which I’m very happy with

DH birthday yesterday ( and the inlaws really annoyed me , so I self medicated with Cadbury Roses and cracked a tooth ... that’ll teach me )

I don’t remember who was talking about wine earlier in the thread , but we had a bottle of Chateau Musar with our roast beef ... so delicious 🍷👍

Enjoy Christmas everyone .. see you on the other side

mumto6anditshows · 24/12/2018 14:01

Hi
This is my first time posting Blush
I started bootcamp 2 wweks earlier because i was too eager.....
Begining i was very strict n lost quite a bit. Measured foods n drank lots of water. Then october half term came n lost my routine. Still i kept away from refined carb as much as posssible. But did less excercise. I didn't portion control much. Probably had more protein than i should
Scales went up n down weekly but generally downwards ....
Started at 179 lbs. Today i weighed 161lbs.
The best part i have gone down 3 dress sizes n had lots of remarks from those around me. I still have lots more to loose
It's slow but steady.

Well done to everyone taking part. Its been encouraging to read personal stories.

Cant wait to join next bootcamp. It makes me accountable and keeps me on track. Its so hard to be motivated on your own.
Happy Christmas n new year

Wildheartsease · 26/12/2018 22:00

Well done Mumtosix and all who've made it! Happy Christmas and New Year. See you on the other side.

For me bootcamp has been wonderful BIWI. Thank-you again.
(This one has been quieter - but probably because it was so close to Christmas. )

prettybird · 04/01/2019 09:29

@redtulip19 - this was the last week of the last Boot Camp. The opening post has the link to the Spreadsheet of Fabulousness, which has the Boot Camp Rules in one of the tabs (strict for the 1st 2 weeks and then you can add in nuts, berries, and in moderation low carb alcohol like dry wine and gin occasionally ) plus lots of links to resources explaining the thinking behind this way of eating.
