We live in the countryside near Stow on the Wold. We have a heck of a job getting tradesfolk to turn up - is it just me or is it something to do with living out here? We returned during Covid, and although some trades are easy to sort out, builders and roofers, electricians and plumbers and handymen are trickier. We do have recommendations from neighbours but getting people to turn up and quote is proving a trial.
