2 hours, but there are buttons to make it go quicker!

Bucharest · 23/02/2009 10:36

Mine takes about 40 mins for 40 degrees.

MrsMattie · 23/02/2009 10:36

1 hr 50 mins

madrush · 23/02/2009 10:38

for cotton 40 degrees about 2 hours, but 1 hour for minimum iron programme and less for different fabric types

IwishIwasmoreorganised · 23/02/2009 10:38

TomNook · 23/02/2009 10:39

haha 47 on a BOsch

FAQinglovely · 23/02/2009 10:39

38 minutes for the "quick wash" (which I genenerally use)

about 2hrs for the "proper" one, but I usually use the time save so it's about 1hr 40 minutes.

CarGirl · 23/02/2009 10:39

1.5 hours on synthetic cycle
2 hours on cotton cycle

Cottons 40c is 2 hours 10mins
Quick wash option at 40c is 15 mins.

MrsBadger · 23/02/2009 10:57

mine has a digital countdown display so I know how long it'll take and how long is left

Normal 40ºC cottons take 1h23
a 40ºC half-load synthetic quickwash is 30min
30ºC ditto is 25min (quickest prog)

60ºC for nappies takes 2h03
50ºC for nappies takes 1h57

CompareTheMeerkat · 23/02/2009 10:58

Somewhere around 1.5 hours I think

LadyPinkofPinkerton · 23/02/2009 10:58

1hr 10 for normal 40 degree

Quick wash 35 mins

LadyPinkofPinkerton · 23/02/2009 11:00

I used to have a horrible cheap washing machine in my old rented house that took 2 hrs, it was nightmare, you can't get enough loads done in a day when it takes that long

Aefondkiss · 23/02/2009 11:02

I have the most basic bosch (bought last year after our 8 yr old bosch burnt out), it takes under 50 mins for the express wash.

WilyWombat · 23/02/2009 11:04

A couple of hours here too, I did try the reducing the temp to 30c like they say in the ad but it all had to be washed again!

cmotdibbler · 23/02/2009 11:08

I have quick wash - 30 minutes (spin isn't too good on that though), a 52 minute (our normal wash), and a 1h 45 wash.

Oblomov · 23/02/2009 11:20

New machine here - 30 mins. Comes out fab. Old one used to take ..... approx 2.5 hrs, I am sure !!

AMumInScotland · 23/02/2009 11:21

About 2 hours on the normal cycle, but it can do it in under an hour on the quick wash - still 40 degrees and a good spin, but much less of the "sloshing it about in the suds" section.

missingtheaction · 23/02/2009 11:32

56 mins on quick wash; 2hrs 11mins on normal. Quick was works fine

Ladypink and Oblomov - what machines have you got? would you recommend them?

2pt4kids · 23/02/2009 11:34

1 hr 57mins

nannyL · 23/02/2009 15:34

cotton 1hr 7 mins

synthetics 50 mins

A John Lewis machine (Which? loves it ) bargain and has a 3 year garantee
