juliet stevenson is brilliant in TMD

she cries so much that it pours from her nose - as it would do int real life

it is because of that film that I find it difficult to hate Snape in the Harry films

W H Auden isnt it?

lou33 Sat 27-May-06 21:09:10

Oh and life is beautiful, when the boy is watching his dad being marched off, and his dad is trying to pretend it's all just part of the game

MarsLady Sat 27-May-06 21:12:40

stop it now expat!!!!!!!!!! I'm gonna have to dig the dvd out and that'll be me done for the next few days.

The fact that her mother told the guy that she was her nanny. Oh and when her boyfriend beat her up.............. sob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

<<the sound of wracking sobs fill the house of Mars>>

LadySherlockofLGJ Sat 27-May-06 21:15:44

Yes, it is Auden.

Stop all the clocks, cut off the telephone,
Prevent the dog from barking with a juicy bone,
Silence the pianos and with muffled drum
Bring out the coffin, let the mourners come.

Let aeroplanes circle moaning overhead
Scribbling on the sky the message He Is Dead,
Put crepe bows round the white necks of the public doves,
Let the traffic policemen wear black cotton gloves.

He was my North, my South, my East and West,
My working week and my Sunday rest,
My noon, my midnight, my talk, my song;
I thought that love would last for ever: I was wrong.

The stars are not wanted now: put out every one;
Pack up the moon and dismantle the sun;
Pour away the ocean and sweep up the wood.
For nothing now can ever come to any good.

OH arse, just reading it does it for me.

expatinscotland Sat 27-May-06 21:16:58
