Evening all

I am about to sign my two boys up to start at Castle Court in February as we are moving and wondered if anyone had children there at the moment or recently. Would be good to have some thoughts on the place and any top tips? Grateful for any information
Thanks all

Hello WCG - I have no personal experience of CC other than that we play them at matches. It seems like an unassuming small country school, that I can say nothing negative at all about. They seem to have a good selection of local leavers destinations and it seems to have a nice ethos. If you have a good feel and think it is a good fit for your DCs, I dont think you can go wrong :)

Thanks Tinkerbell. I got the same feeling from the school when I went there. Perhaps see you on the sidelines on match days!

My DS started in their pre-school in Sept. We looked at every other prep school in the area and CC was our favourite by far.

Although it's early days, we're delighted with it. We have found it to be a really caring happy place and my DS absolutely loves it.

I can't really comment on the prep school but their very recent ISI Inspection report found it excellent in all areas, and they get plenty of scholarships to local secondary schools. We've met a couple of parents with children higher up in the school and they have been equally enthusiastic.

The inspection report really was excellent. We have been really impressed since moving to Castle Court.

This is all really good to hear. We registered them today so it is all sorted and they start in February. Just need to get through Christmas then pack then move house and find a new job - nothing too stressful!!!

Thanks for all the advice

I know several families there and they are all very happy with the school. I probably would have considered it but too far to travel.
