Thanks fluffy. I have a question for you. I can get a discounted lease car through my trust. Eg a ford kuga for £100 pcm including insurance, personal use and Dh insured. BUT my fuel allowance would go down from 45p a lite to 12p a litre. I'm averaging 100 miles a week right now. Can I have your thoughts? And anyone else's!

Wrecked, I've got some stuff at work re cars, I'll check it out Monday for you. X

Report
Fluffycloudland77 · 06/05/2017 12:47

Well 100x0.45p is £45, X 4 is £180 a month in fuel allowance.

It'd be £48 a month assuming 12p a mile.

Your probably paying £30ish a month in insurance now....also maintanance & repairs.

Are they offering any service packages?. If you do go for it just avoid anything with run flat tyres. They cost a bomb to replace.

Thanks for the new thread fluffy

need so pleased about your dpony. He will get better, phew. And now you know whats wrong it lifts that tension off a bit. Your dd is a Star and hideous as this is, its a huge lesson, and she'll grow from it. It's ok to be relieved that dh is going away I think, you have a lot on your plate just now.

Pic of fabric sample and the dress I'll make. Its for this christening. Today we're (finally) putting in my cutting/machining table at the shop. So once the material arrives I can get on.

£40 in morissons, top up, diet coke, meat for the weekend. But cashed a £20 scratch card, so not so bad.

Thanks for the new thread Fluffy

I spent approx. €4 on lunch ingredients and €2 on shower gel. I meant to buy a stamp for my Child Benefit letter. It's a letter that's sent out periodically to all CB claimants. You have to confirm one or two details and send it back. If you don't send it back promptly, they're very quick to cut you off. CB is a universal payment here.

need good news about DPony

Hi all!
I'm tired dh is out at sea rescue training I want to nap but going to attempt to declutter stuff from self employed job that I finished in August. This will help tidy playroom, sitting room & dining room because the six drawers & top of drawers can be used for dc art supplies & jigsaws

They'd need to clarify they're position on tyres & batteries but it looks excellent wreck. You can't beat fords.

I've had to cancel my dn & partner coming round tonight. I feel so ill but I still feel a shit for cancelling. Haven't eaten properly since Wednesday.

I feel so nauseous & I can't even stomach tea or coffee. According to google I'm pregnant Hmm

I think a bug is more likely. Or my stomach ulcers back. Again. fml

Oh poor you fluffy hope it's just a bug as it'll be over quickly. If we do the car it won't be until after Christmas.

I don't know if I should call 111 about Ds. We're on day 4.5 of fever now and his throat is sore it doesn't look great from what I can see. I would wait until Monday but I have to work Blush

I've had infected sore throats, it's miserable. I'd ring.

Kids just get infection after infection don't they poor wee souls.

I'd call wreck and get seen. Our ooh service is great (we have to trek 25 miles to the hospital, but still), and being seen on a weekend sometimes works out better. Plus your ds can be on antibiotics if he needs them two days quicker. These things always come to a head when the doctors is shut, and he's been poorly for days, at least you've given it time to start to get better.

You too fluffy if you haven't eaten I'm guessing at all since wednesday you'll faint soon. Get seen.

Happy decluttering mammy.

Please take care of yourself Fluffy and don't feel bad about cancelling, I sure they understand. It's not like you at all.

Yep, make the call wrecked, any medication will have 2 days earlier to kick in and make your DS feel well again. Poor wee thing.

Thanks Lonely (and others, again!!). I do feel like that, and I can't help how I feel I guess. Dress looks lovely, you are WAY cleverer than me, I can't even sow on a button. Any cycling to report?

Which Hush dress then Laska. Post the name and I will know!

Need no that doesn't sound bad. Well as getting my head around being able to say fuck it to things I can't control or influence when I was broken last year someone used a bucket analogy on me. Tell me to do one of you want but I think we are quite similar in that we cope with the world, keep going and going until we break.
Basically, everyone has a bucket. Some hold more than others, some fill and empty faster than others. When your bucket is full it over flows and that's when you can do no more and cracks begin. You need to do something to empty your bucket out a bit. For me it was off work for a few weeks to reassess.
Your dh (along with everything else) means your bucket is pretty full now. Him being away will allow your bucket to empty a bit so you can go back to coping.
Call me a twat and tell me to fuck off with my cod psychology of you want now but I did help me change my frame of mind a bit along with. Can I change it/influence it. No. Therefore fuck it until I can/of I need to.

If that's not enough I can always drive down and see you. I'm sure creme will tag along to and feed you gin and dpony carrots and polos. Grin

£100 at good food show. Harrogate is a town of two halfs. Lots of money in evidence then not so much.

Wreck - call, definitely worth it as it has been going on a while.

Just renewed the house insurance, it is a lot more than last year, but I have added in home emergency and accidental damage. A friend has had an awful year and luckily had both or they would be up the swannee. Gone with JL through quidco and hopefully getting some fancy lightbulbs too. Not very frugal, but may pay off in the long run.

Also bought dishwasher tablets on amazon, can't seem to remember to buy them!

Thanks for the new thread Fluffy sorry you are feeling rubbish.

Glad you got your boy an appointment Wreck bless him he must feel like crap, if you have to take time off though don't feel bad. Employers have to understand that being a parent comes first, i still feel the guilt about trying to work on the day that dd was admitted to PICU!!

Need you have so much going on bless you Wine glad dpony is o.kay ish and am sure your dd (who sounds like a chip of the ole block Wink) will rise to the challenge.

Been working today, was fairly busy as usual and am feeling knackered so my childfree evening is going to be a nice long bath and an early night - rock n roll me Wink

No cycling need have been a bit crap lately. Been out on my rollerblades, just 5 or 6 miles at a time.

I had to sew a button on dp's shorts at the shop today, while he was wearing them! He would have been very embarrassed if they had fallen down.

NSD, I'm not counting my Amazon digital credit I used to buy Trolls for DC. Credit runs out very soon and I had been using it for books but have loads already unread.

Going to try a Saturday film night with DC. Older DD will love it and hoping to wear out DD2 before battling bedtime again
