Have you aged ten years overnight on a supermarket website?
Are you sticking to the 'two sheets' rule?
Have you had it with singing celebrities?
Are you yearning for what we will now call The Before Times?

If you've answered yes to any of the above, here's where you come to post threads about Naice Things - like ham and cats. Where The Virus That Must Not Be Named (TVTMNBM) is off-limits.

We'll do our best to keep the corona-free zone moderated - you do your best to chill out and gather strength. Flowers Brew

Keep using the normal boards for normal stuff, but here's where to come if you need a break. We're hoping everyone will see the value of having somewhere to get away from it all.

Thanks,
MNHQ

Well done MN and good luck with the moderation - you'll need it!

We've been out in the garden and were happy to see that the magnolia we planted two years ago (a bargain from a German supermarket at £4) has three buds on it.

Can you make an ironic beer with lime icon? Or a bottle of lurid green or red pop for older members.

ha ha @ErrolTheDragon - in the 80s we had a man in a van deliver fizzy drinks to houses every week. IIRC they were all very unnatural colours.

Money back on the empty bottles too, we were green before it was a thing.

Thank you very much. My goodness, we need this! I so want to talk about Easter eggs, and hunting for them. I love an Easter egg hunt. I even have some egg hunt Lego.

We saw our first kingfisher down by the river and yellow butterflies out on the heath. Glorious!

Ey-up all 👍

I saw two red deer this morning when I was taking my car for its MOT. I’ve seen them fairly locally before, but never this close to home. Was pretty cool.

Had a lovely walk from home. With a cracking view lots of wildlife. At home there's tadpoles and newts in the pond so spring is definitely springing

Surely the Coronavirus threads, should stay in the Coronavirus topic and the other topics can be used as intended? Why should everything non corona related move? This seems backwards

Report
Gingaaarghpussy · 24/03/2020 15:56

Because not all threads are obviously about the virus. I for one am happy to not have to trawl through threads.

Great idea MNHQ!

I cant compete with deer, but I do have some little birds building a nest in the bush next to my office window

This is a nice idea. Its probably easier to say "no covid19 in this one" rather than moving every thread in chat and aibu over the next few months ...
