Pregnacare conception....HELP!

Just ordered a pack of these as I feel I could do with adding a few supplements to my diet (I admit it isn't the best).

But there seems to be so many reviews on these tablets which are the 'miracle cure' for quick conception or they completly f*ck up (my technical term for all things I dont understand!!) womens cycles, erradicate EWCM or make their wee turn luminous.

So feeling completly confuzzled as what to do with them when they arrive?

Any ideas??

I'm general sceptical of supplements. Especially multi-vits, pregnancy or otherwise. If you're otherwise eating a healthy and balanced diet then I don't really think conception vits are necessary. I am taking folate (the naturally occurring version of folic acid, as it's more readily absorbed) and Vit D drops (as everyone should in the UK in winter). I also take calcium (because I eat very little dairy and have a family history of osteoporosis).
When pregnant (and conceiving) DD I took the above (folate/folic acid only until 12 weeks - that's important, although I can't remember why now) plus a probiotic and fish oils (not liver oils).

I'd be wary of something that has reviews saying it fucks up your cycle.

we've taken pregnacare conception (his n hers) for last couple of years, no fuck ups of cycles, no hilluminous wee. all fine. DH takes the male version too, he has low count and theyve increased significantly over time, we love them.

only thing we had at the beginning is tummy upset but that went away after couple of weeks. (probably our guts thinking what the hell woo hoo lol)

take them. x

I have just stopped taking Pregnacare Conception as it delayed ovulation and lengthened my cycles. May be a coincidence but this month my ovulation was earlier...

I took pregnacare conception for about three months before we made an effort to ttc. I fell pregnant on my second cycle.

MY DH also took the wellman conception supplements (the male version of pregnacare conception). He said they gave him a massive increase in seminal fluid.

I've been taking these for 2 weeks and I have no EWCM when I'd normally have plenty by now. It's scared me a bit so am going to go back to folic acid as I have a good diet and, to be fair, people got pregnant before this stuff was around!! I'm also charting for the first time and nothing much is happening so far (on cd11 of a 25 day cycle). Am I right to stop taking them do you think??

Thanks. Haven't taken one today yet. Been doing some googling and lots of women have said that it dried up their CM. Normally by this point I'd have plenty. My cycles were all messed up last year (no AF for 4 months at one point) so really don't want to jeopardise anything.
