I’ve just found this. And it sure as fuck isn’t for me.
So either it’s a very old condom or he’s having or planning an affair.

I can only see a LOT number and some other numbers.

Please help before I confront him.

Where’s the useby date on this condom?

Could it be on the other side? It does look quite old and tatty, where did you find it?

MrsTommyBanks · 23/06/2018 15:45

Looks fairly old to me. Where did you find it?

WigglyBlossom · 23/06/2018 15:46

Try googling the brand and lot number?

flippinthebird · 23/06/2018 15:47

I think the exp is 2020

alovelyday · 23/06/2018 15:47

It's 202_ so at least 2020. See the little symbol that looks like an egg timer? It's slightly rubbed off.

flippinthebird · 23/06/2018 15:48

Can you see the egg timer symbol? The expiry is generally next to that and you can clearly see the first 3 symbols 202... doesn't look good

alovelyday · 23/06/2018 15:48

That's the symbol but on the pack it's slightly rubbed off

Where’s the useby date on this condom?
lardymclardy · 23/06/2018 15:50

I think it says 96 but that could be manufacturing date. No idea how long they last.

lardymclardy · 23/06/2018 15:51

Ignore my comment - it's def not over 22 years old!! I don't even know what day it is Grin

sparkling123 · 23/06/2018 15:53

I would say its by the egg timer, so as someone else said at least 2020. I've not heard of Ansell brand but googled and are they Australian? Part of lifestyles brand. Their site says shelf life of 3 or 5 years depending on type. www.lifestyles.com/faqs/#faq7 hoping it's within your time range.

MissCherryCakeyBun · 23/06/2018 15:54

Fine needle.......syringe.....chilli oil😉

You will Soon find out if it's being used

DSHathawayGivesMeFannyGallops · 23/06/2018 15:56

It's by the egg timer. And doing a quick comparison with the different branded wrappers I had nearby, they all do the year first. So june this year = 2018/06.

You're likely looking at a 2020 date there at least, sorry.

TammySwansonTwo · 23/06/2018 15:56

Does look like 202_ so best case scenario bought in 2015, but could easily have been bought this year too.

ShitHelpMe · 23/06/2018 15:59

It’s Mateys.

And by the 202 you can see 3 more faded digits next to it.

They look tatty but surely that’s just because they have been in his wallet (presumably).

OP posts:
flippinthebird · 23/06/2018 16:01

Yep by the 202 will be another 2 digits of a month

ParentInCharge · 23/06/2018 16:02

I'm in agreement with everyone here. Minimum 2020 date. That means it must have been bought anytime from 2015 onwards. How long have you been together?
It does look tatty as hell so I would assume that it's been sitting in a wallet a while. However, it's been about 15 years since I've owned them so don't know how durable the ink and packet is.

ShitHelpMe · 23/06/2018 16:03

So I’m non the wiser?

Apart from he clearly wanted me to find it because he left it in he middle of the bedroom floor under a top which I would clearly move in order to hoover.

OP posts:
BoeandBall · 23/06/2018 16:03

Can you email the company and give them the LOT number to see when they were made?

ShitHelpMe · 23/06/2018 16:04

Could it really be 2020 (or later) when there is clearly marks where there were more than just one digit?

I really really need evidence before I flip out totally.

OP posts:
ShitHelpMe · 23/06/2018 16:05

Yes I think I might

OP posts:
QueenDoris · 23/06/2018 16:06

Maybe he bought it for a posh wank?

ShitHelpMe · 23/06/2018 16:07

On closer expedition it looks like it might say
2020/04

So it means they were bought in 2015?

We were fucking around that time but I certainly wasn’t committed and we weren’t married either.

GrinGrinGrinlaugh snorted at this! harsh but fair. Definitely taking this advice if ever I need it.

TammySwansonTwo · 23/06/2018 16:08

Not necessarily - if this line has a three year expiry, it could be from last year

sparkling123 · 23/06/2018 16:20

I would go with @BoeandBall suggestion, they will keep good records on these things so can give you a definite date. You could say you want to use it but can't see expiration date on it. I've worked in customer services and people have asked for stranger things than this so you have nothing to lose.
