WTF has happened to Quavers??

What have they done to them? They're like gnarly little pork scratchings now. An utter travesty.

Why must companies constantly fuck about with time-honoured products? It is never, never an improvement.

They're not as greasy anymore.

This is DH and Is conclusion after consuming a number of multipacks. For research purposes of course.

So many things have changed, don’t even start me on chocolates. Also, some crisps just taste like plastic now! It really saddens me.

You should have seen me scrabbling through the pack, praying it was just a duff one. But no.

Quavers got me through my last pregnancy, in their original iteration. Grrr.

DH worked in the Quaver factory for one day, and has never allowed them in the house since seeing how they're made 🤢

They brought back Prawn Cocktail quavers. I dont care otherwise.

Now, I just need Prawn Cocktail wotsits.

Same thing has happened to Wotsits. I buy them regularly so it's not a case of "haven't bought them for ages and oooh they've changed them', I'd say the last 3 multipacks I've bought the wotsits are smaller and have a more dense / crunchy consistency than they used to, and they are a bit less cheesy. Not impressed.

Has anyone tried lucozade now, it's not even worth buying anymore.

I live near the quaver factory and apparently they’re expanding and taking on loads more staff as demand for quavers have gone through the roof. 🤷‍♀️ I don’t eat them so can’t comment on any changes.

They’ve changed Monster Munch too. They used to be open textured and very rough and crispy. Now they are smooth and close textured and feel squeaky in your mouth. I thought it was a random bad bag but the multi pack I bought last week are the same. Gutted!

They’re very oblong now. I’m sure they used to be curlier, less regular, crispier and bigger

Yes! Lucozade is foul now. A glucose drink with b*** all glucose in 🙄

I almost bought Quavers this week. I’m glad I didn’t after reading this. Why do they always have to ‘improve’ things by making them worse?

Other examples are Mars Bars and Rocky. They both used to have lovely thick chocolate around them, but now it’s so thin it’s almost non-existent.

Oh god yes I love the giant wotsits...

That does look like a bad quaver. But all the quavers are like that now? Oh no.

Cant agree im afraid. I waited so long for salt and vinegar and the prawn cocktail quavers to return that i am now taking full advantage and stocking up. I love them soooo much. not so keen on the cheese ones though.
