The year is truly galloping by.

60min kundalini class. This month I’m working on properly learning and using mudras, today’s is Garuda which I love at both the heart and throat.

Dis 30 min weights then a lovely Katrina Marie 60min practice, then 30 min meditation. Felt so much calmer after it all.

Hello @Poisonwood I am in awe of your dedication to yoga! Somehow I tend to do more but it doesn't happen in reality.
After a break of not doing very much, and doing more running, I realised I really do need to make more time for it. Had terrible trouble sleeping earlier this week as my hips were so u comfortable. Thankfully a few days off running and they seem better. I am very aware of how stiff I am though.
Currently plugging my way through Kassandras yogalates 30 day series as they are short and easy, and mean I don't waste all my time deciding what to do. I really need direction and am terrible when I have to chose a practice for myself.
On top of the hip I must have done something to my left shoulder which does make some poses uncomfortable, it's been weeks and weeks getting better, very frustrating!
I honestly think this aches and pains wouldn't be so bad if I actually kept up with yoga...

Poisonwood · 23/10/2025 23:45

Hi @Jumbojem that’s a coincidence, I was just listening to a friend half an hour ago saying she’s really enjoying Kassandra’s yogalates. Spooky.

I’m only dedicated because it helps my soreness not be as bad…especially coming in to winter weather my joints are all complaining.

Did an intense 60min twist practice, it was great lol

I've been trying to build a daily yoga practice so this thread is really inspiring.
I've been doing a weekly class for years but never managed to be consistent outside of that. Since September I have been aiming for 6 days a week and have mostly succeeded, even if it's just 10 minutes.
I've been doing YWA but I think I might have to try someone else as I just had to abandon this morning's session because she was talking so much. It was one of her earlier videos (from the October calendar) and it made me feel stressed.
For those who follow Kassandra, is she similar or is there less talking?

@TheVeryThing I found Sarah Beth Yoga a nice relief when I got to the point I’d had too much Yoga with Adriene. She has a fair few Minimal Cues videos too.

Lovely Katrina Marie practice, a great combination of movement and calm.

I’ve been dabbling with Centre after also abandoning Ember like @TheVeryThing due to tedious chatter. And when in DD ‘lift your right leg up high ‘ has become as repetitive & irritating as SB’s ‘ Let’s Flow’.Today was Charlie Follows 15 min Beginner Yoga as my practice seems to be going backwards. She has a weeks worth of practices on YouTube, handy as I too @Jumbojem like to have my practice chosen for me. I did some weights this morning so yoga was a nice balance

Poisonwood · 27/10/2025 22:23

@yogachick give YoginiMelbourne a try, she was an enjoyable find when I was getting a little jaded by the others. I must do some more Charlie Follows, really enjoyed her a couple of days ago.
