I've been practicing for many years now and often design my own flows at home.
Have started to notice recently that I get absolutely nothing out of downward dog. I don't experience discomfort, and can do it ok, but simply don't like it very much.
I would love some ideas or alternatives that would replace it in a flow, such as a sun salutation or just on random flows, etc. If I did the 'puppy' pose instead, I can't think how to make it....flow?
I do think downward dog is a bit over used in general, and the repetitive use of it bores me. Any alternatives or ideas? Thanks!
