Hi
Due to cancer treatment I've put on a lot of weight in the last year and am really struggling with general aches and pains. Someone suggested yoga could be an option for me. Can anyone point me in the right direction for something I can follow online. Needs to be completely beginner level.

Yoga with Adrienne is the best for beginners hands down. She does a 30 day intro in Jan so you could pick that up. Find her on YouTube

I came on to say the exact same- yoga with adrienne

I find lots of Adriene’s stuff a bit challenging to be honest. I did one of her Jan 30 days of yoga course but every subsequent one was too much. For body positive yoga, look at Jessamyn Stanley or LucyB yoga. There are s9me lovely beginner yin yoga sessions on YouTube - this can be easier to start with than a flow.

I’m doing a course online from this evening! It’s with Lucy B yoga, found on Instagram. I’ve been practicing years but my husband is arthritic, chunky and stiff as a board. This series is for people like him who have never stepped on a mat, though I know I’ll still benefit. She’s a curvy bird who is all about accessible yoga. I know up to last night she still had a couple of spaces,so I would check her out. Or 1-1 with an in person teacher,as even Adriene doesn’t break it down for a true beginner and I haven’t found anyone else online who truly does,or who understands how different the practice is when you’re more on the fluffy side. This years 30 Days with Adriene is 100% NOT for true beginners ,just my opinion

I do yoga with Kassandra on YouTube. She's got some really nice 10-15 min morning and evening stretches.

Unless you are already pretty supple and fit, Adrienne is hard for beginners. It's beginner's yoga in the sense that it's a first look at yoga, not in the sense of getting fit and supple.
Kassandra is more accessible in my opinion- but it might be worth starting (or doing side by side) a Pilates routine as well. Girl with the Pilates Mat is great for encouraging you that you can do it.
