France just didn’t turn up. Absolutely pathetic by their so-called big attacking stars. Olise, Doué, Olise, Dembele, all useless.

Spain were clinical. They kept the bigger French players away and kept up the pressure.

I'm not much of a football analyst myself, but from what I'm reading the general consensus seems to be that France were overrated all along and had an easy path to the semi finals. When they met a class team like Spain, they folded. And on Bastille Day too!

Yeah, they're trying to make it into a big 'Superbowl Half Time' extravaganza when that's not really a 'thing' in football. But then, neither are 'hydration breaks', countdowns and cheesy muzak.

Yes I've been reading and hearing that. When you think about it, there is some truth in it. While we were playing Mexico in ridiculous temperatures, they were playing Paraguay in Philadelphia.

I have read that and thinking about it I agree. My dad had said the same to me on Friday and predicted France would not be in the final.
