I'd say they're not very likeable, but a tad less arrogant than previous French teams featuring the likes of Pogba.

They were on a par with the John Terry/Wayne Rooney England team in terms of unlikeability.

When it doesn't pay off, it just makes them look foolish.

It’s been a strange match , the penalty was lack lustre and no goals.
Everyone looks drained. Might be the heat though. know how they feel!

Slightly amusing story for half time

When my ds was 7-10yrs my dad used to ref for ds football games. End of season celebration came around and the coaches told the kids that they had a special ref to present their medals. Peter Walton rocks up, gives a speech, hands out medals etc and all the kids had no clue who he was and were disappointed it wasn’t KerplunksDad 🤣 One kid said to PW ‘are you the other ref in our town then?’ Henceforth Peter Walton has always been known as the Other Ref 🤣
