Anyone else feel a tad bereft there is no game tonight?

Had my Shingles vaccine yesterday afternoon and feeling tired and shivery today. Should be ok tomorrow. Happy to have a fallow evening.

Yes me! Feeling quite miffed about it. I go years between watching any football whatsoever then the WC rolls around and I’m immediately football obsessive/ expert lol

I do have some true crime to catch up on though. DH keeps asking me what I'm going to do with myself once the tournament has ended. I might actually make it to the gym (!!!)

Though I am glad that only one of the games remaining is at stupid-o-clock, and is on a Sunday AM which won't affect work like this week was affected.

There's an excellent true crime podcast/YouTube channel called Truly Criminal - they approach it in such an empathetic and victim-centred way with no clickbait or sensationalistic video titles.
Also watched the first episode in ITV's Cold Case Detectives this week and there are two more to watch!

I have a couple of matches recorded I couldn't watch (& the England one I did watch) But I'll probably delete them as I just don't enjoy them once I know the outcome. Shame really.

I used to live by the sea, I miss taking my kayak out 😢

I live right by a river and love seeing wild swimming and kayaking. I feel really blessed just having it all on my doorstep. Nature is priceless.

I live near a couple of Lakes, unfortunately you're not allowed to swim in them. One is used for sailing & the other various water sports, but all paid & set times, you're not allowed to just use them.

I've just watched State of Origin 3, which I'd forgotten all about, and would normally have watched live this morning. I blame the WC! Great (and unexpected, I think) win for NSW.
