Franchising

Does anyone run a franchise? Is it worth it -I have seen some that charge £££ then monthly fees, and it all seems quite expensive unless you are a whizz! I am thinking of something like Monkey Music or Yoga Bugs.

Hello

Haven't been around for ages, so sorry this is a while in coming!

I'm an Usborne Books at Home Organiser. All you pay is £38 for your Starter Kit and you need to place orders for £100 within the first 3 months which is easy peasy!

There are no monthly targets.

There are often offers running to boost your stock and commission (min 24%): at the moment, you could get your first £355 worth of stock for just £123...!

Have a look at my website for more info: www.little-bookworms.co.uk (my email address is there too if that doesn't answer your questions).

It's great fun, everyone loves the books and you can organise your work round your family!

Hope that helps!

Franchising can be brilliant but you need to make sure you look into the contract really carefully. I know this is slightly cheeky but you might want to look at www.pyjamadrama.com which is owned by a friend of mine. Lovely programme, all linked to national curriculum.
