INDIAN HEAD MASSAGE ?

Thinking about doing a course on Indian head massage and if comes with a Diploma.
Thinking of the future and maybe doing this as a little job.
Anyone else done a course on this or can you give me any tips?

No idea about courses, but Ihave seen at the local Borders Bookshop that there's an Indian head masseur every 2nd thursday night. I think he/she charges a small fee fo a small session and you don't need to make an appointment.

Ive had a few indian head massages and they are great. Except I always have a period straight after!

Yes I'm sure it's nice to be on the receiving end of one. And could be a nice little earner and at times to suit me.
Anyone done a course though?

Check out your local college. we teach it as part of a beauty therapy course at the one I work at.

Just done that today, requested a info sheet on it and apparently I need to do a bit of anatomy and phsyiology first.
So may sign up for that to begin with.

i booked and paid for one then they cancelled the course

They may of their is not enough interest but I can do something else in the meantime.

MistressMary I can see that this post is from 10 years ago but I wondered how you got on and if you're practising now? I'm currently doing a course in indian head massage and thinking about what I want to do with the qualification, how I can work around nursery hours and my part time local authority job...any tips would be very welcome! Thank you.

Did the diploma years ago when I was considering a career change in complementary medicine. Didn't pursue that avenue but as a midwife it's a lovely additional skill which I can use on women. Go for it if only to use on friends and family.
