Hi,
I'm starting my own business selling Kids Travel Packs and have just finished making my webiste and putting the packs contents together. I'm not sure what people are prepared to pay so wondered if you would like to give me feedback on what you would be willing to pay for the Standard, Super and Deluxe packs.
Any other feedback, good or bad, would be appreciated.
Please note that the photos will be updated when I get my stock but I first need to gauge public opinion.
The address is: www.kidstravelpacks.co.uk. You can email me comments via the site or leave a reply on this thread.
Thank you!

These are an excellent idea. I dont travel anywhere without colouring books etc for the kids. I probably spend about 10pounds per child on stuff and it is probably the same amount of stuf that is in your standard pack. Good luck with the business.

Looking at them I would have thought something like £3.95/£5.95/£7.95. It would be good to be able to enlarge the photo to see exactly what the contents are - eg I couldn't see where the jibitzs were.

They look like a really good idea. The only criticism I would make is the choice of a purple bag for boys and girls. My 4yr old ds wouldn't be seen dead with something purple as he is firmly of the view that purple is like pink and is only for girls!

Good idea. I'm not sure about prices but here are some thoughts ...

What ages are the bags suitable for? What if I have children of different ages?
Would it be possible to offer different bags for different ages?

What about repeat custom? Could you maybe change the book and other contents every so often (every month maybe?) otherwise why would I come back and get another one?

Do all the activities involve reading / looking down at stuff? What about children who get carsick when reading - is there something else for them? (Or is this just aimed at train / plane travel?)

Hope that's helpful, good luck!

Hi everyone,

It's been pretty tricky trying to find products that will be suitable for travelling by plane, car, train etc. I know some children get car sick if they look down for too long but not all do so that is how I feel I can put some sort of colouring/drawing books in the packs. I've also tried to find products that don't have small pieces which could easily be dropped or lost and especially items that make a noise (you won't believe how many of them there are!!).
I will definitely be changing the items although possibly only twice a year.
I am going to see how well these bags go and then I'll be branching out into bags for different ages. The one problem is that I don't think they'll be popular with older children as most have Nintendo DS's which keep them occupied for long periods of time.
Anyway, thanks for all your comments. I have loads of work still to do so I'd better get cracking!

Shianne :-)
