I was made redundant 5 weeks ago and still haven't found anything else. I've had 2 interviews but was unsuccessful . I'm running out of patience now and would love a new perspective on what I can do. I love working with people and helping them - I've been doign youth work but the job I had was unique in that it din't involve evenings or weekends, which I can't do regularly. I've got a Sociology degree and am halfway through a Youth Work training course .
I want a hands on job but don't know what!! I don't fancy care work, customer service, support work, nursery/playgroup or anything like that. I did think about doing a course in baby massage as I know they're short of instructors in our area but I just don't know... Dd goes to nursery 2 days a week so it really needs to fit in with that if possible. She's also the reason I'm not too bothered about pursuing my career further atm.
Probably a total long shot but any suggestions would be much appreciated
